Arohi smiled warmly at Naksh, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. The tension that had built up throughout the day finally began to dissipate.

"Thank you, Naksh," Arohi said, her voice filled with gratitude. "I appreciate it."

Ahvi returned with tea and handed cups to Naksh and Arohi, her eyes shining with concern.

"Ahvi, I'll come tomorrow," Arohi announced, setting her cup down. "Today, I'm going home."

Ahvi's face fell, but she nodded understandingly. "Okay, Arohi mam. Take care. Feel better soon."

Naksh stood up, his expression solicitous. "I'll drop you home," he offered, his voice gentle.

Arohi hesitated for a moment, unsure if she wanted Naksh's company after the chaotic day. But his genuine concern and apologetic demeanor put her at ease.

"Okay," Arohi agreed, gathering her belongings.

As they walked to the car, Ahvi waved goodbye, concern still etched on her face. "Bye, Arohi mam. Get well soon."

In the car, Naksh asked, "Arohi, are you feeling better?" His gaze flicked to her, ensuring she was comfortable.

Arohi leaned back, her eyes closing. "Yes, thanks. Just tired."

The drive was quiet, with only occasional small talk. Naksh's gaze occasionally drifted to Arohi, checking on her.

As they reached Arohi's home, Naksh turned off the engine. "We're here," he said softly.

Arohi opened her eyes, smiling weakly. "Thank you, Naksh."

Naksh stepped out and walked around to open Arohi's door. He offered his hand, helping her out of the car.

At the doorstep, Naksh turned to Arohi. "Maine ek promise kiya hai. Usko nibhaunga," [I made a promise. I'll keep it.] he said, his eyes locked onto hers.

Arohi's heart skipped a beat at the sincerity in Naksh's voice. "I know you will," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Naksh's gaze lingered on hers for a moment before he stepped back. "Take care, Arohi."

Arohi nodded, a small smile on her lips. "You too"

With that, Arohi stepped inside, closing the door behind her.

As Naksh drove away, he couldn't shake off the feeling that something had shifted between him and Arohi.

Arohi leaned against the door, her mind replaying the day's events. From the morning's confrontation at the school gate to Naksh's prank gone wrong, it had been a rollercoaster.

She couldn't help but smile at Naksh's apology and genuine concern. His promise to take care of her echoed in her mind.

"Maine ek promise kiya hai. Usko nibhaunga," [I made a promise. I'll keep it.] Naksh's words resonated deep within.

Arohi wondered if she was reading too much into it. Was Naksh genuinely interested in making amends, or was it just guilt?

She walked to her room, her thoughts swirling. As she changed into comfortable clothes, Arohi realized her throat still hurt.

In the
Naksh's actions had caught her off guard. No one had ever gone out of their way to apologize and make amends like he did.

Arohi's phone buzzed, breaking her reverie. It was Ahvi.

"Arohi mam, how are you feeling now?" Ahvi asked, concern evident in her voice.

Arohi smiled. "Better, Ahvi. Thanks for checking."
