After leaving the woman's hut, Fenix trekked through the dense woods, scanning the area for any signs of the three herbs he wanted to gather before leaving the beginner town. They were called Ennunise, Uforise, and Awegella, in the game, but he had taken to calling them red herb, blue herb, and green herb.

After walking for several minutes, Fenix spotted a glint of vibrant crimson leaves. With a grin, he made a beeline toward them, knowing they were Ennunise patches.

The herbs were both captivating and slightly intimidating, with jagged edges, and prickly points, making it easy to identify them among the other plants. They were one of the main ingredients in creating a Health potion. However, if the herb is not used properly, it could be dangerous.

Carefully harvesting each one, Fenix added them to his inventory, collecting over 60 in total. As he continued on, he came across even more patches of Ennunise along the way.

He picked them all, amassing over 100 in total. Satisfied with his haul, he decided to move on and search for the blue and green herbs.

As he walked further into the woods, Fenix stumbled upon a stream. Along its banks grew 20 glowing blue Uforise patches. These blue herbs seemed to pulse with mana. Its leaves were a deep azure, and veins of light ran through them, making it appear as if it was alive with energy.

This herb was essential for creating potions that could help restore MP. Its magical properties were evident in the soft, ethereal glow it emitted. With a small smile, Fenix gathered each herb and put them into his inventory.

Finally, after some more searching, Fenix stumbled upon a pleasant scent drifting through the air. Following his nose, he found himself surrounded by Awegella herbs. Their bright green leaves swayed gently in the breeze. Known mostly as a base ingredient for potions due to its neutralness, this herb was also often mistaken for food by animals and humans alike.

Without a second thought, Fenix gathered all the green herbs until there were none left. As a result of him collecting all of those herbs, his herbalism level increased by two levels.

In addition to the herbs, he also found a variety of wild crops, quite a few, actually. So, once he had finished gathering all the herbs, Fenix went back for the wild crops he had seen along the way. He had spotted some potatoes, carrots, blueberries, and even some wild rice growing in a nearby pond, and he was determined to collect every last one.

Carefully, he uprooted each plant, making sure to keep at least two with their roots intact so he could replant them later. Just like with his Herbalism skill, he also improved his Harvesting and Hoeing skills while gathering these plants. He briefly considered leveling up his fishing skills but decided to put it off until later.

That skill would take time, and time wasn't on his side at the moment. There were only a couple of months left before the update, and Fenix wanted his potion and cooking skills to be high enough so he could make difficult items that were worth a lot.

With the last two potatoes safely stored away, Fenix knew it was time to level up. After checking his current level (only five), he knew just the place to gain experience quickly. Drawing his weapons, Fenix set off towards one of the farms on the outskirts of town.

The one he was heading to was an old carrot farm. It was abandoned long ago because it became infested with monsters called the Hareture, a hybrid between a turtle and a rabbit.

They possessed the appearance of a rabbit, the speed of a turtle, and a tough outer shell. The farm was home to three different versions of the Hareture: the level 4 baby, the level 7 mother, and the level 9 father. Fenix planned to stay there and kill the rabbits, aiming to reach level 10 in less than an hour.

The walk to their spawn point was quick, and as expected, several Hareture were waiting for him. Fortunately, these creatures wouldn't attack unless provoked by an actual hit. Remembering what he had read about them on forums, Fenix knew they could be tricky to deal with if not attacked properly.

Their shells provided protection, so attacking them head-on would do no damage. To defeat them, Fenix needed to flip them over onto their stomachs and strike at their vulnerable underbellies. He came up with a plan: using his knife as a lever to turn them over and then stabbing them with his fork to finish them off.

With his plan in mind, Fenix tested it twice. The Haretures, with their sturdy shells, posed a challenge, but his strategy worked. Each time he flipped one over, he quickly stabbed it in the exposed belly, causing it to burst into particles while its green blood splattered over him.

Encouraged by his success, Fenix went on a warpath, hunting the Haretures left and right. His ingredient-hunting skill was leveling up quickly, and he also collected a lot of Hareture meat. That would come in handy later when he really started trying to level up his cooking skill. The battlefield became a mess of blood and scattered particles as Fenix efficiently took down the monsters.

The Baby Haretures were easy targets, their low levels making them quick kills. The Mother Haretures put up more of a fight, their higher levels requiring more precise attacks to flip and stab.

When it was time to face the Father Haretures, Fenix had to be even more cautious. Its shell was tougher, and its movements were slower but calculated. Yet Fenix managed to flip it at the perfect moment, exposing its underbelly and taking it down in a final strike.

After nearly an hour of nonstop combat, the notification he was waiting for finally appeared.

[System: Congratulations, you've reached level 10!!]

[System: Please pick the region where you want to start from!]

His eyes flickered over the list of over 100 regions, but he had made his decision long ago. Without hesitation, he selected Ziam.

[System: Are you sure this is the region where you want to start? Yes or No?]

Fenix clicked 'Yes'. Just then, another notification blinked into existence, flashing urgently:

[System: You have ten minutes to get your affairs in order before being transported away from Beginner Town.]

Knowing that he already had everything in order, Fenix made his way through the field, collecting the items that had dropped from the Haretures as he waited to be transported.
