Caught in Webs

"You find them?" Tanjiro asked as he was struggling to stop a slayer from killing him.

"Yeah! Follow me that way!" Inosuke said as he pointed his sword in the direction the demon was. "I am sensing a strong presence over there."

"That's amazing, Lord Inosuke!" Nyx shouts as she used her sword to cut some of the webs off of a slayer's back, causing their body to drop to the ground.

"Nyx is right, that was amazing Inosuke!" Tanjiro shouts as he deflects an attack.

Inosuke stood there, feeling all fuzzy from getting praised from the Kamado siblings. He is then snapped out of it, as a slayer tries to attack him, so he quickly jumps out of the way. "Why you!" He shouts as he glared at the slayer that attacked him. "We can't get anywhere with these guys around!" 

They all stood there their bodies tensed as they all thought of ways to get out of this. "Damn it. Isn't there...isn't there any way we can get out of this?" Tanjiro said as he clenched his teeth and sweated from the stress.

"The hell with this crap!" Inosuke shouts and they look at him confused. "That's it! I am just going to demolish then al at once!" 

Tanjiro looked at him upset. "Stop it! You can't! There must be a way to save them!" He shouts.

Nyx looked at the other slayers, from all the blood that was coming out of their bodies, to the blood on them that clearly wasn't theirs. Some even had their limps moved in a way, that clearly showed that they were broken beyond repair. She frowned as she knew that the ones that were alive...wouldn't want to go on living if they were to save them. They would just be suffering in pain and mental pain.

"Tanjiro...I think he is right." Nyx softly spoke and her brother looked at her shocked.

"But we can't hurt these people!" Tanjiro shouts, only to gasp as one of the slayers rushed towards him. But before he could protect himself, Murata rushes in and blocks the sword. 

"M-Murata?" Tanjiro said as he stared at Murata in shock.

"Leave these guys to me and go on ahead, Tanjiro!" Murata shouts.

Nyx felt the cursed energy wrap around her soul, she felt it's annoyance rising. "Weren't you just the one who was begging to leave the mountain?" She asked annoyance laced in her voice.

"My subject is right!" Inosuke shouts as he crossed his arms. "That's big talk from the guy who pissed his pants!"

Murata looked at them upset. "I NEVER DID ANYTHING OF THE SORT, YOU STUPID BOAR! I WASN'T EVEN TALKING TO EITHER OF YOU, SO BUTT OUT!" He shouts at the two of them.

Nyx narrowed her eyes at Murata, not liking the way that he was talking to her. She felt the cursed energy wrap around her whole body, seething with rage.

Murata deflects another sword as he struggles to protect himself. "I know I wasn't very brave back there. But I am still a demon slayer! I will find a way to hold them off. I know now I just need to cut the threads and that their movement patterns are very basic, so I should be fine." He said and Nyx looked at him annoyed.

"It's not just that!" She shouts and they looked at her shocked and confused. "Can't you see that these people are hurting! Even if you manage to save them from control, they will suffer for the rest of their life!" She shouts as she points her sword at the slayers that were getting up. 

"My subject is right!" Inosuke shouts. 

"That doesn't mean we can't at least try!" Murata shouts as he struggles against a slayer.  "I will watch out for the spiders too. There have to be people who are under even greater control that are closer to the demon. You have to help them!"
