JJK x KNY: The Spider Lily's Curse

A Gentle Lullaby

Both boys were glaring at each other, none of them wanted to make the first move. Suddenly they both felt a wave of high tense bloodlust engulf the forest, so tense that it started to almost choke them.

'W-Where did this bloodlust come from!?' Tanjiro thought as he coughed, trying to breath. He looked around, trying to smell where the bloodlust was coming from, but it was so dense, he couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from.

Rui covered his mouth as he coughed, he was suffering the most, as this strange energy surrounded him, almost as if it was trying to suffocate him. 'Where did this energy come from!?' He thought. 

"Flower Bomb!" They heard a female shout and suddenly there was a large explosive boom of blue spider lilies. Rui covered his eyes as he jumped back, just as Nyx landed right where he was standing. 

Tanjiro stared in shock as he took in his sister's appearance. She was in her normal "demon" form, but something was different about her. The markings on her body...they were glowing a faint light blue this time instead of being black.

Rui stared at Nyx shocked, as he watched as the cuts on her body started to heal. "What...how...did you get loose?" He asked in shock and confusion. Nyx stood there, breathing heavily as she glared at Rui. 

Tanjiro's nose twitched and his eyes widened as he gasped. 'The bloodlust...it's coming from Nyx!' He thought as he stared at his sister worried.

"Nyx, you can't fight him! He is too strong! He will just capture you again!" Tanjiro shouts to his sister, fear laced in his voice. But Nyx ignores him as she stared at Rui.

"All you three have to do, is agree to join my family." Rui struggled to say as he was still having a hard time breathing. 'What is this energy I am feeling?' He thought before he glanced behind Nyx to see that Tanjiro and Nezuko didn't appear to be having trouble breathing. This confused him.

'How are they able to still breath? What the hell is this energy!?' He thought as he stared at Nyx, there was a bit on hope in his eyes and Nyx frowned.

Tanjiro stared at Nyx, worry etched across his face. He didn't know what his sister was planning to do, plus she didn't have her sword, so she wouldn't be able to cut Rui's head. 

Suddenly Tanjiro started to smell bloodlust coming from his sister, as she clenched her fists as she started to growl slightly, and what worried Tanjiro the most, was that it looked like his sister was battling with herself.

Sensing the bloodlust, Rui rose his hands and sent multitude threads her way. "Petal Shield!" Nyx shouts, and a protective barrier of blue spider lily petals surrounded her, blocking the threads. 

This shocked Rui.'What, that's impossible! My threads should be able to cut through anything!' He thought as he stared at Nyx shocked and confused. 

The petals disappeared and revealed Nyx glaring at Rui. His eyes widened as he gasped. 'H-Her eyes...their glowing!' He thought as Nyx's body started to relax, and her bloodlust started to go down.

"Calm down, Siren, and focus on your voice." She heard the deep voice say as the cursed energy wrapped around her soul, calming her down.

Tanjiro stared at his sister confused, as he noticed that her bloodlust started to go down. 'W-What is she planning?' He thought as he watched as his sister slowly calmed down.

Nyx closed her eyes, as she focused on her breathing, calming down. She then slowly opened her eyes, revealing they were glowing, almost as if the moonlight was shining on them. She then opened her mouth as those strange markings appeared around her mouth.
