Persona 5 - The Answer

The Plan

Yuki: "I'm glad that there's been others who protected our world while I was gone."

You and me both.

Junpei: "So what are we gonna do about that door?"

Nijima: "What door?"

Mitsuru: "We're been scouring that 'Palace' for a week, we made our way through to the centre but there is a door blocking our path, it requires 9 keys to open, but we can't find any of them."

Nijima: "Then why don't we split up? We'll cover more ground that way."

Naoto: "Tactically speaking that does make more sense, especially with a group so large."

Mitsuru: "I agree, there are 22 of us not including navigators, so let's split into four teams."

Nijima: "So two teams of 6 and two teams of 5? But we only have three navigators."

Mitsuru: "I can navigate, with my technology it should improve my efficiency."

Ryuji: "Okay then what are the teams?"

Nijima: "Well I'd imagine members from Phantom Theives, S.E.E.S, and the Investigation Team would know how to work together, but that may not always be possible, so let's get used to working with everyone else."

Naoto: "Good idea, Nijima San, and as Amamiya kun, Yuki kun, Aigis San and Yu will most definitely be leading, we'll let them decide the teams."

It's up to us? Again? Might as well get this over with.

Me: "Yusuke kun, Morgana, Chie and Amada Kun"

Youske: "All right partner, let's do this."

Me: "Actually I meant Yusuke, from the Phantom thieves."

Youske: "Oh, right."

Sorry buddy.

Yusuke: "It is an honour Narukami kun."

Morgana: "Of course he chose me."

Amada: "Let's do this Narukami kun."

Aigis: "I choose: Ryuji Kun, Ann chan, Koromaru, Akihiko and Naoto San."

Me: "How comes you chose 6?"

Aigis: "I thought since I haven't used the wild card power as much as you three have I could use the extra power."

Me: "That makes sense, and I haven't had long to power up since we went back so I'll add Youske."

Youske: "Chose me last."

Me: "Fine I'll choos-"

Youske: "No no no! I'll join."

Ren: "All right I chose Makoto, Yukiko, Mitsuru and Kanji Kun ."

Junpei: "But Makoto is a leader too- you meant your Makoto... I gotta get used to that."

Yuki: "So I guess it's us Junpei, Yukari, Haru San and Teddie.

Mitsuru: "I'm with Ren, so Rise San , you be with Aigis, Fuuka join Yu so that leaves Futaba chan with Yuki Kun. Any objections?"

No one makes a noise.

Ren: "Then let's go."

We're in the TV world now.

Ren: "Didn't you say you couldn't find any keys?"

Akihiko: Yeah, after a week of searching, nothing."

Ren: "There's one right here by the entrance."

What? He's pointing at the floor.

Ren: "Ryuji, hit there."

He's smashed through the floor and... there's actually a key there? How did he see that?

Phantom Thief I guess.

Aigis: "How did you know that was there?"

Ren: "Oh it's called third eye, it lets me see things of value in the metaverse."

Mitsuru: "This is what we've been missing! I've never encountered anyone with an ability like-"

What's going on? I feel like I'm being transported again.

I hear the familiar Piano of the velvet room.

Oh Igor is calling us.

"Welcome to the velvet room. Now that all the Guests have arrived, the game can truly begin."

Aigis, Yuki kun and Ren Kun are all here with me.

"It seems you will require more of my assistance, I can share the Trickster's ability of Third eye to the rest of you as well, think of it as a reward for your efforts."

"Till we meet again."

Mitsuru: "yours Ren Kun."

Huh?

Naoto: "Are the four of you alright?"

Oh right, we must've returned to the moment we left.

Me: "Yeah I think we're okay."

I guess the name Third Eye is appropriate to how this feels.

Aigis: "I believe we can all use Third eye now."

Mitsuru: "How? Is this the power of the wild card?"

Ren: "Maybe."

Youske: "It doesn't really matter how, the point is now this should be WAY easier."

That's true.

Mitsuru: "I suppose. Well then, let's begin the Infiltration."

We all run separate ways with our teams...

Yuki Kun and Aigis kissed goodbye when they thought no one was looking.
