Persona 5 - The Answer

The True Battle

"Sumi?"

Sumire: "Sorry I kept you waiting."

Me: "You seem to be making a habit out of saving me."

Sumire: "After all you've done for me? This is the least I could do. ELLA! MASQUERADE!"

Sumi's Attack pushed back Adam Kadmon! The teams are free!

Everyone groups up again.

Me: "Adam Kadmon's defences are still down when he uses his attack! But I think because Maruki isn't inside there's no weak spot, so..."

Naoto: "We have to keep holding his fist."

Mitsuru: "The four of you need to stay out while we hold back Adam Kadmon, don't let him use his second fist."

Makoto: "Yuki-Kun, Aigis-Chan, Narukami-Kun and Ren, you need to take care of Adam Kadmon and Oizys.

Me: "Yu, me and you will take on Adam Kadmon."

Yuki: "Me and Aigis will handle Oizys."

With that, plus a balm of life. We're ready, as are Oizys and Adam Kadmon.

For about 10 minutes me and Yu battle Adam Kadmon while giving our teams items to keep them strong, while Yuki and Aigis battle Oizys.

Me: "You thinking what I'm thinking?

Yu: "Probably, Yoshitsune!"

Me: Yoshitsune!"

Me and Yu: "Hassou Tobi!"

That definitely hurt him, but we still can't deliver a finishing blow.

Oizys knows she's being pushed back, she's getting desperate... she's pulling in every shadow here!

She's going to use them as an attack! Adam Kadmon is giving his energy too, this is bad.

Oizys: "GREAT TORMENT."

She unleashes a giant ball of energy that lands right on top of us! We're gonna die!

"NO!"

Futaba's final guard saved us, powered up by Rise and Fuuka, but that was still immensely painful. Futaba can only use that once...

And even if she had another one, we wouldn't survive a second attack.

Oizys: "Do you understand now? All of your meddling, changing of fate... it's was all for nothing. You cannot stop the natural order of things, miracles don't exist."

Aigis: "You're wrong! Even if I am to die here, just being able to see the one I love one more time was a real miracle, not even you can take that away."

Yuki: "I am alive, I don't know why but if I am it must be for a reason, so I'm not ready to die just yet."

Yu: "He's my friend, all of them are, I'm not about to let you kill us here."

Me: "The Phantom Thieves change hearts, and we've changed reality, everyone here has overcome hardships and fate to stand here right now, so stopping you will be a piece of cake now that we're all together."

Oizys: "Your stories all end here."

She starts charging again.

Yuki: "Messiah!"

Aigis: "Orpheus Telos!"

Yu: "Izanagi no Okami!"

Guess it's my turn.

Me "Satanael!

I feel a new power within me, it's like our persona's know how to work together it's like...

Yuki: "A Quadruple Theurgy!"

I don't know what a "Theurgy" is but I'll go with that.

Just as he said that, Izanagi-no-Okami's sword goes inside Satanael's gun, and it starts to shrink and it looks like a giant evoker, which Messiah and Orpheus Telos grabs and aims at Oizys!

Oizys: "You will never kill Regret!"

Yuki: "No, but we can stop you."

Oizys: "GREAT SORROW!"

Me: "GREAT!"

Yu: "MYRIAD!"

Yuki and Aigis: "SHELL!"

Messiah and Orpheus Telos pull the trigger and Izanagi-No-Okami's sword comes out!

Oizys releases the Great Sorrow on us, but Izanagi-No-Okami's sword goes straight through the attack, pierces straight through Adam Kadmon's head and hits Oizys!

Oizys "NOOOOOOOOO!"

Everything fades into light.

Where am I? It's just me, Yu, Makoto and Aigis here.

(Sniffle)

Is someone crying? It sounds like a little girl.

We all turn around and see a little girl crying.

"I miss them"

Did she lose someone?

"I miss my family and friends, I miss everyone who's dead, and... I missed you too Yuki kun."

No way. Is that?

Oizys: "This is my true form. I am the masses regrets given form. I was just so angry, he got to come back but only him, what about everyone else?"

Makoto: "I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't be alive right now."

Oizys: "You should be sorry... or... at least that's what I want to say, but you sacrificed yourself for all of them. I guess, if anyone deserved to come back, you did Yuki kun."

Makoto: "..."

Oizys: "I'm sorry everyone, I was just so angry and I wanted you to feel my pain, but I see that was wrong now."

Everything starts fading to white again.

Oizys: "Live... Makoto..."

Makoto: "Mom?"

With a flash, we're back.

Yukari: "Is she gone?"

Yu: "I think so, she won't bother us anymore."

It's finally ove- I hear footsteps.

"You have done well, all of you."

Lavenza! And three others. I'm guessing they're all from the velvet room.

"I am Elizabeth."

"I am Margret."

"I am Lavenza."

Margret: "This is Marie."

She gestured at the final lady.

Yuki: "Elizabeth? What's going on? Why am I alive? Why did this fight just happen? Where have you been?"

Elizabeth: "That being, Oizys had made us unable to interact with you, but now that she's been defeated, it's time to tell you... The Answer."
