Jungkook’s resolve strengthened as the days went by. He began the process of divorcing Naeun, meeting with lawyers and cutting ties with her. Naeun, of course, didn’t take the news well. She tried to manipulate him, threatened him, and even begged him to stay, but Jungkook remained firm. One night, Naeun showed up at his door, her eyes wild with desperation.“You can’t leave me,” she cried, grabbing his arm. “You belong to me, Jungkook. You’ll regret this.”Jungkook shook her off, his expression cold. “No, Naeun. I belong to myself. I’m done being your puppet.”Naeun’s face twisted in rage, and she lunged at him, clawing at his shirt. “You think she’ll take you back? After everything? You’ll never be enough for her!”“I’ll take that chance,” Jungkook replied calmly, stepping away from her.Naeun’s hands fell to her sides, her shoulders slumping in defeat. She knew she had lost, and there was nothing she could do to change his mind.“Fine,” she spat, her voice bitter. “Go to her. But don’t come crying to me when she rejects you.”Jungkook didn’t look back as he closed the door behind her, leaving Naeun and her poisonous influence behind once and for all.
