The revelation of Naeun’s pregnancy sent Lisa into a spiral of confusion. She had started to trust Jungkook again, started to believe that they could build something new together. But now, with the news of Naeun’s baby, everything felt uncertain.Days passed, and Lisa avoided Jungkook, needing time to think. She sat alone in the park, staring at the pond where they used to talk. Memories of their past, both the good and the bad, swirled in her mind. She loved Jungkook. Despite everything he had done, despite the pain he had caused her, she still loved him. But could she handle this? Could she stand by his side knowing that he had a child with the woman who had caused her so much pain?Just as she was deep in thought, an unexpected figure appeared beside her—Naeun.Lisa stiffened, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at the woman who had tried to destroy her life. “What do you want, Naeun?” she asked coldly.Naeun sat down beside her, her expression surprisingly soft. “I didn’t come to fight, Lisa,” she said quietly. “I came to talk.”Lisa raised an eyebrow, skeptical. “Talk? About what?”Naeun took a deep breath, her eyes focused on the ground. “I’m pregnant, and it’s Jungkook’s. But I know he doesn’t love me. I know he’s chosen you.”Lisa felt a pang in her chest at Naeun’s words. She wasn’t sure if she believed Naeun’s sincerity, but she listened.“I’ve made a lot of mistakes,” Naeun admitted, her voice low. “I was selfish, manipulative. I wanted Jungkook for myself, and I didn’t care who I hurt in the process. But now… now there’s a baby involved, and I have to think about what’s best for them.”Lisa stayed silent, unsure of where Naeun was going with this.“I don’t expect you to forgive me,” Naeun continued, her voice trembling slightly. “But I want you to know that I’m stepping aside. Jungkook doesn’t belong with me. He belongs with you.”Lisa blinked, caught off guard by Naeun’s unexpected confession. “Why are you telling me this?”“Because I’m not going to stand in your way anymore,” Naeun said, her eyes meeting Lisa’s for the first time. “But the baby… I’m keeping it. And Jungkook will always be a part of their life.”Lisa’s heart raced as the reality of the situation sunk in. She would never fully escape Naeun, not now. The child would forever tie Jungkook to her. But could Lisa live with that?
