Part 6: Naeun's Jealousy

As Jungkook and Lisa began to reconnect, Naeun became more suspicious. She noticed Jungkook spending more time away from home, and her jealousy started to boil over.One night, as Jungkook was heading out, Naeun stopped him at the door, her arms crossed and her eyes blazing. “Where do you think you’re going?” she demanded.Jungkook didn’t flinch. “Out.”“With her?” Naeun sneered. “You think I haven’t noticed? You’ve been spending time with Lisa, haven’t you?”Jungkook met her gaze evenly. “Yes,” he said simply. “I’ve realized I made a mistake.”Naeun’s face twisted in fury. “You think you can just run back to her after everything we’ve been through? After I gave you everything?”“You didn’t give me anything, Naeun,” Jungkook said coldly. “You used me.”Naeun’s eyes narrowed. “You’ll regret this. You think Lisa will take you back? She’ll never forgive you. You’re fooling yourself.”“Maybe I am,” Jungkook replied calmly, “but I’d rather be a fool with her than stay with someone who never cared about me.”Naeun’s rage reached a boiling point. She slapped Jungkook across the face, her eyes wild with anger. “You’ll regret this, Jungkook. You’ll come crawling back to me.”Jungkook rubbed his cheek, unfazed by the slap. “No, Naeun. I’m done with you.”
