Connections: Both are incredibly powerful malevolent dragons whose mere presences alone can alter the planet in catastrophic ways threatening to wipe out all life on Earth if they weren't stopped, both also come from different worlds and were responsible for causing near apocalyptic events in their series' (Ghidorah caused the Mass Awakening in Godzilla King of the Monsters and Deathwing caused the Cataclysm in WOW Cataclysm)

From a large scale army battle to a large scale kaiju dragon battle which no matter what the context is, a kaiju dragon battle is just f***ing awesome and I feel this fight is the best for a complete destructive slog between two beasts of Armageddon, now I am aware both have a few other matchups, for example Ghidorah has Deathsaurus from Transformers which I feel would be cool also, but I don't really know much about Deathsaurus and while I don't know much about Deathwing either I would be more interested learning about Deathwing than Deathsaurus, as for Deathwing he doesn't really have much outside of big dragons, I mean there is Darth Vader for whatever reason, but if you want a Star Wars vs WOW matchup Lich King is right there, plus this matchup has the most potential for environmental devastation and as a fan of kaiju films and watching big monsters break everything in their surroundings as they beat the ever loving s*** out of each other makes me a very happy lad indeed.
As for the fight itself, I'm not entirely sure how the fight would start but I feel as though it could be as simple as these two just seeing each other existing and deciding its on sight from that alone, from here, you can have the two savagely smashing each other into the ground while also firing projectiles at one another but you could also have the two use their other abilities, for example, you could have Deathwing cast some fire or ice magic to pelt Ghidorah with attacks only for him to just tank through it, you could have Ghidorah make a massive storm to mess with Deathwing's vision and attack him from within the clouds before Deathwing disperses them, you could have Deathwing use Mirror Image to duplicate himself and use them to beat Ghidorah before Ghidorah absorbs some lightning from the storm and blasts lightning everywhere taking down all the clones and damaging Deathwing himself, there could be some fun had here, but what I want the most of all is to show how these two just existing completely f***s up the environment, like having the fight start in a tall mountain range and by the end of it there's only a crater where the mountains were as the two would've reduced them to pebbles by the fights conclusion and when it ends you could have the winner standing over the loser before delivering a horrific finishing blow and then the winner roars to the sky in victory, if Deathwing wins you can have him tear Ghidorah's wings off before letting out a massive blast of shadow flame incinerating Ghidorah down to the last atom, if Ghidorah wins however, you can have Ghidorah tear off Deathwing's wings and then have the left and right head grip the top and bottom of Deathwing's maw and hold it open before the middle head fires a gravity beam inside causing Deathwing's head to come off mimicking Godzilla's kiss of death move from the 2014 Godzilla film.
As for who wins while Deathwing has more abilities and magic he can use, in terms of stats he gets up to planet level and massively hypersonic+ meanwhile Ghidorah upscales from small star level nukes and can cross light years in the time it takes me to take a piss so I feel Ghidorah takes stats by a fair amount, also Ghidorah's gravity beams can damage things at the sub atomic level so that's just another factor in why Deathwing gets annihilated.
Overall while this might be the matchup I have the least to talk about it still has a lot of potential to be one of the most destructive and grand vs battles ever made and as a big kaiju fan, I wouldn't have it any other way.
