Madelyn's POV

Seeing them 3 together is crazy. My mouth slightly open in shock. Rosalina and Nia jump into the car and I have no choice but to follow. Me, Nia, Rosalina, and Damion are all squeezed into the back seat, while Asher drives his red Jeep, and Mason sits in the passenger seat. The driver was awkward, Mason was controlling the music and the roof was down. Plus as much as I hate to admit this, Mason has great music taste.

"So, you and Damion are siblings right," Rosalina asks me.

"Yeah," I reply back.

"You got some good genes you two," Rosalina says.

Then Damion and Rosalina start chatting and out of the blue Nia says to me, "That reminds me of your nasty ex."

Oh shit

The look on my face is horrid.

FLASHBACK

"Mason stop it," Madelyn says half serious, half delighted.

"Put me down!"

"Not a chance," Mason laughs as he spins her around in his arms.

"You shouldn't be arguing you look to happy to be saying put me down," he said as they both fell onto the bed and burst into laughter.

"Shh," she laughed as she tried to muffle her laughter.

"We might get caught."

"I don't even care if Damion comes in, I love this moment, nothing can ruin it," Mason said looking into Madelyns green eyes, making his brown eyes look huge, in love.

"No matter what, it's us, forever."

END OF FLASHBACK

I miss you I'm sorry by Gracie Abrams started to play in the car, I think Mason put it on by accident, but decided to keep it. (you play it too.)

"Nasty ex, didn't know you dated someone recently Mads," Damion said confused.

"I didn't it was a long time ago," I say panicked.

Nia starts with her "buts" but Rosalina gets the hint, "Yeah a long time ago that's what we meant."

FLASHBACK

Masons apartment used to be their getaway. Now it was their fight-away. The tension grew in the house with the yelling.

"I know you went to the club and cheated, I saw the photos!" Madelyn yelled as she stood in the middle of the living room. Her face red, her eyes red, the tears pouring like a fountain.

"You aren't hearing me out I didn't cheat I was-"

Mason spat the words out, but was interrupted by Madelyn, "No you cheated, you and I are over."

"It seems like you're the one who set me up, if you wanted to break up you didn't have to do all this," he says in a sharp tone. His body that was leaning on the wall, was no longer leaning.

"Maybe this is why all my brothers friends are off limits, I should've known Im so stupid!" Madelyn says.

"You aren't stupid Mads."

"Why did you cheat, why, why, why, why," Madelyn says, trembling, with tears.

"Every time you speak it feels like I'm hearing a new lie each time."

"Madelyn don't even, you have been suffocating me, you've been accusing me for everything these past few weeks. It feels like you want to break up on purpose-

END OF FLASHBACK

"So who's this nasty ex" Mason asks.

"Mason change the song, I asked for Gracie, but Im not feeling it anymore," Rosalina changes the conversation, then lies her head on the black seat.

The ride was fun after that, we laughed, talked, and much more.

We reached the hotel and me, Damion, and Mason all stepped out of the car.

As I was leaving the red jeep Asher called out for me.

I turn around and head to the window of the car, as I do so Mason looks behind too.

"Im really sorry for not hearing you out," He says in an apologetic tone, his blond curls on his forehead.

"Its okay, it wasn't your fault either," I say.

"But I shouldn't have reacted that way, so were fine now,"

"Yeah," I say as he gives me a handshake and i head back to the hotel.

He waits outside the hotel until I get inside, once I do I run to the elevator, and luckily I manage to reach just before Damion and Mason closed it.

"What was that about," Damion asks.

"Nothing what would it be about," I say my feet ticking on the marble floor.

Damion just side eyes me and heads to his room.

Of course, leaving me and Mason alone.

"So, nasty ex huh," Mason breaks the silence in the golden elevator with the wall decorations on the ceilings.

"You're not the only ex I had," I give him a snarky comment back.

"I think Im your only "nasty ex"," he says mockingly.

I started thinking for a reply but luckily the elevator door opened and we both exit.
