Madelyn's POV
After we spent the whole day at the lake, I laid in bed, showered, with my comfy pajamas. Luckily I don't have to deal with Mason's ass for a bit since he's showering.
Great, I sigh, I jinxed it because the moment I said that Mason stepped outside of the bathroom with his towel wrapped around him.
I decide to ignore him as I scrolled away on my phone, but no, of course the one time I ignore him he decides to bother me.
Okay he's actually not doing anything but he is standing near the bed which is annoying me.
Suddenly he yanks my phone out of my hand.
I immediately jolt up, "Hey what are you doing!"
"You and I, we need to talk," he says still holding my phone.
"No we don't, give me back my phone," I say.
Every conversation with Mason is the same, we fight and don't progress!
"Okay, up to you, we wont talk but I'm holding onto your unlocked phone," he says, grinning.
"Fine, fine lets talk," I say in defeat
"After I change," he says and it just pisses me off more but I don't say anything.
After a few minutes he comes out, my phone still with him ugh.
He takes a seat on the bed in front of me, his brown hair still dripping wet.
"We need to clear some things," he says, look directly into my eyes.
"Everything's already clear," I reply.
"You didn't believe me when I said I didn't cheat, actually maybe I'm the stupid one since you didn't trust your boyfriend then why would you trust him now," he says.
"We aren't together now..." I correct him.
"You know what I mean!" He says annoyed.
"Show me your so called proof, now."
"I don't have it," I lie.
"Bullshit."
"You're such a bad liar," he rolls his eyes and mutters something else but I couldn't catch it.
"I'm not lying," I say.
I don't want to talk about this, I really don't.
"Okay, then I'll check your phone just in case," he says with a smirk.
This, you know what I'll stop myself.
Using my phone as leverage is not fair.
"I lied, I lied, I will show you the photo, my phone please," I say with a hint of desperation.
He hands me my phone and waits but I shut it off.
"What are you waiting for?"
"I changed my mind," I say nonchalantly.
He lays me down onto the bed in a swift I couldn't even comprehend what was happening.
"Stop acting like an immature baby and show it to me," he says his words each slowly with anger while holding onto both my wrists.
"I am not an immature baby," annoyance drips in my voice.
"Oh really?" He whispers.
"Then stop acting like one," he says.
"I am no-" he cuts me off.
"Madelyn," he says loudly.
"For god sake, I am trying to solve a problem and your avoiding the situation."
