Meeting You Again

Mason's POV

Asher drives above the hill and parks his car. As I exit the car I'm greeted with this large landscape of plants and sad with a lake in the middle, there's a water fall connected to that lake from the mountain.

After a few minutes a black Mercedes parks right next to Ashers car and outside comes Nia and Rosalina.  

Nia runs up to Madelyn and gives her a tight hug, while Rosalina says something to Asher then she heads to the 2 girls. 

Speaking of Madelyn god she knows how to piss me off. She's also a fucking liar. 

Asher removes his shoe and plops it into the car then removes his shirt and puts it on the car. "What are you guys waiting for," Asher says as he runs into the lake. 

"Hell yeah," Damion says as he does the same thing and urges me to hurry on, Eric follows behind him.

All their shirts, plus Erics glasses are placed on the car. 

As the girls remove the clothing that they have on top of their swimsuits I head to to the car to put my shoes in there, as I open the door Madelyn does too from the other side. For a second its like the world paused as I stared into her big eyes.

But I snap out of it and she quickly places her clothes and shoes in the car, then she slams the door a lot harder than necessary causing me to roll my eyes. 

She's infuriating. 

Nia is already in the lake with Asher and Damion. I lift my shirt over my head and once I do so I decide to place to place it but I freeze. 

I see Madelyn and Rosalina running to the lake holding hands but all my eyes can do is stare at Madelyn.

We've swam multiple times but I haven't seen it in so long, the swimming in the hotel doesn't count because here she's glowing, care free. 

She spins around in the water and I hate how her big green eyes sparkle as she does so, I hate how her dark brown hair turns lighter in the sun, I hate how care free she looks, like there's no tomorrow, I hate how gorgeous she looks, I hate her. 

"Yo man you coming or what," Damion yells to me, snapping me out of my thoughts. 

"I'm coming, relax," I say as I shut the car door and head to the lake. 

As I do so Damion exits and pokes my back, probably a failed attempt to push me, "Bro lets go jump from the top of the mountain cmon."

"I dont know about that," I say.

"Hurry up," Damion says as he already starts walking on the path to the top of the mountain.

I roll my eyes, but as we reach the top air blows by, letting us get a fresh breeze of air. 

"Move!"

"Canon ball," Damion yells out as he jumps off. 

Despite his terrible canon ball I can't help but laugh. 

A large splash splashes everyone as I hear screams and laughters but I can't make up what they're saying. 

I backflip into the almost turquoise colored lake.

"My hair you bastards, I asked one thing, one thing, and it was no water on my hair," Rosalina complains.

Damion and Eric give each other a smug look as they head to Rosalina. One picking her up from the waist and other one from the leg.

"Put me down, now." Rosalina says in a threatening voice but Eric and Damion laugh and ignore her as they get out of the lake and run to the top of the mountain. 

"I'm going to kill you both right now," Rosalina yells loud enough for me to hear down by the lake.

"Your threats aren't scaring anyone," Eric says while laughing. 

Asher then puts Nia on her back and says, "Get Madelyn so we can show the girls what fun is."

Afterwards he runs out the lake, water moving around as he does so, then follows the path to the mountain. 

"That won't be necess-" Madelyn starts to speak but before she can actually finishes her sentence I put an arm behind her knees and I pull her up, putting her over my shoulder, her brown hair fell forward and it tickled my back. 

"We're not doing this!" She yells loudly then whispers, "again." 

"Hm, what did you say, I didn't hear you," I say, acting oblivious. 

"Mason put me down," she said as she protested and kicked her legs but failed.

"Oh it seems like I can't hear annoying people today, such a shame," I say and I know she rolled her eyes, she definitely did, even if I can't see it.

As were walking up I see Damion and Eric throw Rosalina into the lake as she yells, "This isn't over!"

"Mason," she said and for some reason every time she said my name it did something to me, maybe because I haven't heard her voice say it in so long, but it pisses me off, she pisses me off.

But I have a plan to stick to. 

"Mason," she says louder, I can feel her nails resting on my wet back. 

By the time I reach Asher and Nia have jumped in and it's our turn. 

"We reached now you can put me down," she says, her voice turning a bit angrier. 

"Fine I'll put you down," I say as I wait a few seconds then I jumped off the edge. A loud scream escapes Madelyns lips as she holds onto my tightly.

We hit the cold water as I gently put her down. The sunset making this moment shine brighter.

Her big green eyes stares up into mine as she releases a scoff, "What do you not understand about put me down."

"Told you already, can't hear annoying people today," I smirk and she does roll her eyes, this time I can see it. 

"Guys I'll go get the towels so we can dry off and go home," Asher said.

"Thank god you brought towels, your not as dumb as a I thought," Eric says.

"Shut up Eric before I beat your ass," Asher says and Eric replies, "You wish."

"Can you believe were related," Eric says. 

"I heard that, Asher says as he opens the trunk of his car.

"Good, now hurry up I promised someone I'd do tutoring sessions," Eric says as he exits the lake. 

"Catch, weirdo," Asher says as he throws a folded towel to Eric. 

I exit the lake too so my body can some what dry off as water drips from my hair.

Once everyone's dried off we decide to call it a day.
