Mason's POV
"I don't want to swim with you, nor do I want to talk to you, so let me go!" Madelyn said with disgust.
"Then lets not swim and lets not talk," I say and she looks at me confused. But before she can ask what I mean I decide to do it.
I let her wrist go and now Madelyn is looking at me with a mix of emotions written on her face. She takes a few steps back and I assume that she probably wants to leave but is also curious to see what I mean. I throw off my shirt behind me letting it land somewhere. I don't bother looking, I carry Madelyn, one of my hands supporting her back, while the other under her knees.
Once I do I so I catch her off guard, one second she was backing away, next I was sweeping her off the floor, and she immediately starts to protest, "What the hell, this is illegal, Mason put me down now." Her hand is around my neck but she's not holding onto me for support, it's laying there on my shoulder.
"Shhh, you said no talking and no swimming," I reply as I walk towards the pool.
"Put me down now, Mason you're messing with the wrong person," Madelyn threatened as she tried to get out of my grip.
I just ignore her comments and continue holding her effortlessly.
Madelyn wasn't holding onto me, she avoided touching me at all, which was honestly dangerous for her, but I made sure to hold on to her. I walk over to the pool, each step I took was hitting the wet floor tiles.
Third Person POV
"Wait what are you doing," Madelyn quickly rambled as she saw us walking towards the pool.
But Mason didn't reply to her comment
Madelyn refused to hold on to him but as they reached the edge of the pool she became slightly nervous. The pool wasn't shallow and Madelyn very well how to swim, yet she didn't like being in someone else's grasp in water, which was an escape for her.
"Mason this a new low, even for you!" Madelyn says irritated by his immaturity.
Madelyn didn't actually believe Mason would do it.
He wouldn't.
He wouldn't. She said to herself, but as they reached the edge of the pool Madelyn felt panic reaching her chest. It was already hard to breathe as she went beyond her limit when she was swimming. I mean it's not like it was the first time, but panic, nervousness, and the mystery is all adding extra pressure.
Just as Mason was about to jump into the pool Madelyn yelled, "No, don't!"
Madelyn immediately wrapped her arms around Masons neck. She felt weird doing so, but she couldn't help it. Her grip tightened around him and Mason laughed at her.
"You fric-," before Madelyn could finish what she wanted to say Mason jumped into the pool. The cold water swallowing them.
Mason's POV
Maybe she's crazy, maybe I'm crazy. Now we're both inside the pool.
"You wanted silence, here, I kind of broke the swimming pool, but technically were just in the pool," I said.
"What the hell Mason you're actually crazy!" Madelyn exclaimed.
"I'm sorry I went overboard, look, I just wanted to talk to you and you won't even hear me out," I explain to her.
"Because your literally my brothers friend I have no reason to talk to you!"
"Also you cheated on me," her voice breaks as she stops yelling and whisper shouts the last part.
Is she seriously still acting like she's the victim? Why is she still lying! We both had a mutual friend, Eliana, and apparently Madelyn told her that she hates me and doesn't want to be with me. On top of that she apparently couldn't break up with me like a normal person so she accuses me of cheating. My blood boils as I think of the situation. I would try to stop her and get my plan in action but I don't bother trying to stop her as she leaves.
I dont know why that jump made me get deja vu of our old relationship. What ever that was way in the past.

Madelyn's POV
Mason recently entered to shower and I'm just laying on the bed. It's so so so comfy I don't want to leave. I don't if hotel beds are just comfy or if this is some super good bed. Either way I don't want to sleep on the floor. Im so dizzy and tired and I don't know if it's because I fainted earlier or because I forced myself to swim that much. Mason comes out of the bathroom in just a towel. His upper body wet and his brown hair drips water.
He started to dry his hair with another towel.
The awkwardness in the room was loud. As he bended his hair, drying his hair, his thin gold chain moved up too. Without looking he asked me, "You fainted?"
"What?" I ask remembering what actually happened earlier this morning.
"Asher called your parents and said you fainted and that's why you were missing."
"Shocked it wasn't another one of your stunts," Mason muttered to himself and in this moment I would've loved to punch Mason in the face. I ignore him as I lay in the bed sideways, the blanket almost covering my head as I scrolled on my phone.
"He said the doctor said that you needed rest, why were you swimming so intense, and don't say it wasn't that much your face was so pale and you were gasping for air the whole time, why didn't you say something at least before I jumped with you in the pool," Mason said, kind of angry, which kind of scared me.
"What is this an interrogation room," I said defensively, then I rolled my eyes at Mason.
Mason didn't reply and went back to the bathroom. I swear I heard a scoff from him though! I didn't bother replying to his scoff because I wasn't even sure if he actually did it but I also have a terrible headache.
I had long shut my phone and was just staring into the wall in front of me and Mason comes out of the bathroom. I forgot he was even here what was he doing for so long. Mason is out of the bathroom I thought the thought again to myself. Aw man I know damn well he's gonna force me off. You know what I'm not gonna let him do that who does he think he is to make me sleep on the floor.
I start to prepare my argument but Mason comes and sleeps on the other side of the bed. OH MY GOSH! This is even worse than sleeping on the floor. I don't want us to sleep together but I dont feel well at all. Plus, we've slept next to each other countless of times before, no difference. Never mind there is a difference. I'll survive today it's fine.
"I didn't cheat," Mason randomly blurts out.
"And you know that."
