Chapter 19 Therapy conflict

The therapy session back in the circus is going well for the most part. As Caine and Zooble are going back and forth constantly. As this argument continued without any end. It honestly seemed to be endless this therapy session. As it's pretty clear that they forgotten that this is a therapy session. With Zooble refusing to tell Caine what the problem even is and why they are refusing to participate in the adventures. As Zooble honestly feels like they are going in circles with this without any end.

It is simply getting tiring to keep on doing this so many times. As the AI ringmaster still has the notebook with the bee drawing on it as a frustrated expression is plastered on him, though it was difficult to tell. Given how he looks like, but he is frustrated and confused.

It is a good thing that Deyna and Leroy are not here, listening to this as the back and forth conflict continued without any end. It is getting so tiring as it's difficult to tell when this conflict will even end and if there will be any progress to this at all. Because looking at it, it seemed like there wasn't any progress at all to this therapy session.

"I DO NOT use my adventures to torture my guests!! Any torment I inflict is 100% accidentally like any good war criminal!"

"We weren't even talking about that! I really couldn't give less of a crap about the adventures."

"Then what is your problem Zooble? I'm trying my best to remember but both you and my brain won't tell me!"

That is something that Zooble never expected Caine to say at all it completely caught them by surprise that he is trying to remember. They really couldn't believe it. He was trying that hard to remember why they don't participate in the adventures anymore. Perhaps telling him will help.

"It's me remember? I don't like... myself. I HATE this body. I HATE all of these stupid removable pieces. I just wanna find something that feels.... good."

"Oh yeah— now I remember why I couldn't remember. It's because that problem is already solved!"

Caine snapped his fingers as a cartoon like box with different removable parts sticking out soon appeared with bubble words saying: Zoobles. On the box labelling it as it's floating around in the circle.

"Simply swap out your undesirable Zooble parts for better ones!"

" I've been trying to find parts I like since the day I got here."

"So back to the adventure!"

" Forget it."

When Zooble said that the AI ringmaster spaced out for a second and looked at them as if they had a conversation with him. But Caine can't remember what it is that they were talking about with him. When he tried to think back, it was all completed static.

"Forget it?"

"Just forget it."

"Forget what?"

Zooble just roll their eyes as they honestly can't believe Caine just said that as they completely ignore the confused look on the AI ringmaster. Because he can't remember what it is that they were doing what conversation they were having. Whenever thinking back to what they were previously talking about. It was all just static for him.

"Caine nobody likes your adventures."

"Haha! Good one Zooble!"

"I'm serious Caine. Ragatha is just too nice to say anything. Jax just likes to [%#$&] with everybody. Gangle is too shy to speak up. Deyna is cuckoo. Leroy is delusional and cuckoo. Kinger is insane. And— And Pomni.... She just looks traumatized every time she comes back from one of those adventures."

Caine float down to the red plush chair as he felt different when Zooble just said that it felt strange something he's not used to. This felt strange like a a bunch of fish oil is inside of his tongue. Is this what failure feels like? There's no way he could've failed. This is his whole purpose. The whole reason why he exist in the first place.

"Oh Zooble, Zooble, Zooble. Making adventures is my art! It's all I exist to do! All I'm... good at. A-And uh... haha...w-what you're saying could imply that I'm bad at the only thing that I'm good at and that....haha.... That'd be..."

Caine sat down on the chair as he stopped talking his eyes became glassy his pupils enlarging, and as the entire circus began to lose it. Glitches started to appear all over as the textures started to vanish as well and everything started shaking uncontrollably. Including there being static and a strange sound.

The AI ringmaster remained unresponsive as the glitching in the shaking, and the disappearing textures began to continue. As everything started to fall apart as Zooble looked at Caine then at the entire circus as this meltdown continued. With a worried and concerned expression they decided to change the topic.

"U-Uh... whose therapy session is this?"

Then the glitching stopped the static stopped. The textures had returned to normal. Even strange noise had completely vanished. Caine had appeared to be back to normal again, including the entire circus. As that was completely strange of what just happened.

"Oh yeah! We need to get to the bottom of your behavioural issues! I'm gonna show you some inkblots and you're gonna say the first word that comes into your mind."

Zooble is angry about what just happened but is relieved that things had returned to somewhat normality, but found that strange. That was just happened a few seconds ago. Did Deyna and Leroy notice that. Probably not as Zooble is shown a piece of paper with some inkblot on it. As the notebook that Caine had is on the floor as Zooble picked it up.

They are going to put some notes down because that was just completely bizarre. What happened a few seconds ago. Yes the circus is strange, but that never happened before. So it was completely unnatural given the chaotic nature of the circus. As Zooble is going to figure out what just happened.
