Sorry for being late, oof. With school and work and commissions, it was a crazy weekend. But hey that just means you'll get uploads today and Saturday this week. Anyways, let's continue:

...Meanwhile...

Jock heard the familiar sound of footsteps entering the plane. Were his friends back already?

"Well, Indy," He smiled. "That was quick. Where to next?"

There was no reply. Jock spun around in his seat, expecting this to be some sort of practical joke, though Indy was never really the kind to joke around. Directly behind him, blocking the way to the now totally destroyed passenger's area, stood five figures dressed in crimson red and black, with hoods and hats covering their faces.

"You're not Indiana Jones," Jock pointed out the obvious.

"Of course we're not," The figure closest to him spoke up. "Where are they?"

"I don't know," Jock admitted. "They're somewhere over there, I think."

"So, you won't tell us?" The figure asked, sounding intrigued. "Alright then. You four, fan out. Search the entirety of the ruins if you have to, but find that garnet tablet so we can get the treasure. I'll show this one what happens to people who don't cooperate."

The four other figures nodded and ran off. There was little to no room for Jock to run as the figure overtook him. The last thing he saw was the figure swinging something large and blunt down on his head before all went black.

...Back with Indy and me...

"There!" I cried, pointing to some small, ring like rock structures protruding from the brick wall. "Think you could pull us up, Indy?"

"I could try," he nodded. "But if those things can't support our weight, this whole pyramid will likely come crashing down on top of us."

"But right now, it's our best and only bet, right?" I pressed.

"Seems so," Indy responded. "Well, let's give it a shot then."

He cracked his whip, and I watched as it wrapped around the stone rung closest to the ground.

"Hang on," Indy warned me as I grabbed his hand tightly, and he swung back and forth, gaining momentum until he could swing safely to the next stone ring.

We repeated this process until we got to the top. I clung on to Indy tighter with every new ring we reached, fearing that I could possibly slip and fall, not to mention the fact that though I was getting used to the swinging sensation and the wind in my hair, it wasn't getting any less nerve-racking each time. Finally, we reached the top, with the garnet tablet, and the next clue, still in hand and intact.

"Let's get back to the plane so Jock can fly us back to that friend of yours who can translate this!" I exclaimed, turning to start heading down the stairs, but Indy stopped me.

"I know someone who's closer," He explained, guiding me away from the ruins.

"How-?" I started to ask. "Well, I guess as a teacher of history and geography, you'd get around. I've heard about all the other adventure's you've had when you were 'out sick'."

Indy flashed a smile and lead me onwards through a thicket of trees and into a meadow which housed a village of old brick houses.

"Ah, Indiana Jones!" A male's voice greeted us.

"Hey there," Indy waved back. "Think you could translate what's on this tablet? Just the last line."

"Sure thing, Indy," The man nodded, coming up and taking the tablet from him. "Say, who's this one you've got with you?"
