" Did you take your supplements??" he asked while checking the fit of his suit on the full size mirror in their room.. And he heard a "hum" in return ..he closed his eyes and still tried to act normal..
" Okay it's getting late, better I get going .. Bye" he smiled on turning around and looking at Alec who was folding his clothes silently standing on the other side of the bed… Magnus Heard a same "hum" in return again…
"what?? Don't even want to say a bye???" he asked Alec who looked at him for a second and shifted his gaze to the clothes again..
Magnus inhaled sharply and replied… "So the love you were talking about, for all this time was gone, right??" he asked sarcastically but he knew how much it hurt.. Because for all these days they aren't talking much .. Even when Magnus tries to communicate, Alec will drag him to the topic about taking him to the engagement party to meet his family…at the end of the conversation or an argument it's always left unfinished.. So Magnus tried his best to make Alec understand his side of the story and how he feels but Alec was too stubborn in convincing him every single time..
Finally the day of the party night came.. But Magnus was busy getting ready for weekend meetings in both of his industries.. And Alec playing cold is already messing with his mind since the morning… He didn't care about it in the past.. He didn't expect anything, he used to live alone but for the past 2 months he got used to hearing a bye or cheek kiss when he leaves the house and he started to feel left out in the middle right now…
Magnus didn't wait because he didn't hear anything from Alec, not even a "hum" this time, so he decided to leave the room… but he stopped by the door when he felt a strong arm hugging around his waist from behind… Magnus smiled to himself on feeling Alec's face on his back … magnus looked at him over his shoulder…
"I will wait for you.. I want you to take me to the engagement party " Alec whispered gently and Magnus could hear it clearly… "Alec, try to…. !!" Magnus was about to say something but Alec didn't let him finish.. "Please don't say anything.. And please don't look back.. Just think about it.. Bye, get there safe " Alec whispered in the same tone.. Magnus smiled lightly and adjusted himself..
"And, the love I always talked about will never be gone.. Loving you was really easy for me.. Just like breathing" Alec whispered while pulling himself away from Magnus's body who stood there all shaken and broken because this is the last word he heard from aurora the day she died..
Magnus didn't look back; he walked out really fast.. Alec watched him from the balcony but Magnus looked like he was lost…

"Hey, you ready???" Santi walked in with a happy face… on seeing Alec's face from the side, his reaction changed and he asked out of concern "you okay, Alec??"
Alec looks weirdly sad because it's almost late but Magnus wasn't there yet .. He wanted to call Magnus but on the other hand he didn't want to force him…
"Alec? "Santi Called again..
Alec : yep!! I am ready (he faked his smile brightly)
Santi : God you scared me.!(he chucked and his gaze shifted to Alec's growing bump) you look beautiful with that (he said, smiling at Alec's bump)
Alec smiled and took his little bag on his shoulder but Santi carried that for Alec "let's go" Santi said and they both left Bane's mansion…
Alec was looking for Magnus's car throughout the way but he couldn't see him…
