He turns the paper again and again while drinking a bottle of water which he lazily grabs from the nightstand nearer… "Come on. Come on… show me one vacancy please " he mumbled with a lot of hope in his voice…
He smiled when his mom entered the room with his favorite banana chocolate pancakes.. "What are you doing?" she asked with a smile when she found Alec's bed filled with newspapers..
Alec : searching for new job!! (he said and pull the chair nearer for his mom to sit, he is still sitting in his bed with one leg folded under the other one)
Maryse : What is the rush…?? You can take a little more rest… you deserve it especially that little squirrel on your tummy deserves it (he said caressing alec's shoulder)
Alec : Mom, it's been a month already.. As much as I stayed home his thought was haunting me (he said with a lot of sorrow in his Voice but he knew how to cover it) … and it hurts. I am done with this lonely atmosphere.. I need to go out, meet people and concentrate on something else.. Even my eyes were tired of crying…. I Am tired of expecting him to call me or come and meet me today or tomorrow or in future … I Know he's never gonna Come for me but I can't stop staring at the streets and my phone all the time… To Be honest this wait is killing me. (he said bit hesitantly) I have to focus on something else at least for this little one's goodness…,I don't want this little one to grow under stress..(he said while rubbing his not so flat tummy)
Maryse : I understand alec.. But you are tired nowadays. You can't work like before, you throw out more often, you aren't eating properly.. Why don't you just go out for a walk and not think about this new job seeking Ideas for a few more days?? (Alec looked at his mom with a knowing smile) besides, me and Izzy were working and it's enough to settle Jace's father ... .and that bank is due.. OMG God's grace it's over because of you.. You did more than enough … (she said imaging the amount was there on debt back then)
Alec : not God's grace it's my Magnus's grace (he defended with a smiling face for which maryse twisted her lips a bit annoyingly) mom… don't get mad at him.. It's not his fault.. (he smiled again)..
Maryse : You can support your magnus but I can't love a person who used my son and kicked him out after giving a baby.. I can't pretend alec … (she said bitterly)
Alec :mom.. Please.. He didn't know that I am pregnant!!! (he tried to calm her)
Maryse : If he knew that before heard, will he accept your love?? Haan?? Once a moron is always a moron (she said and handed alec's plate to him)
Alec : mom…he might have accepted my love (he was confident) but I am not sure. I don't want him to accept me for this baby… I Want him to love me without any strings … He Is at the stage where he is afraid to trust or fall for someone… As I said, I found him in bad timing…please mom… He Did nothing wrong.. (he said placing his hand over Maryse)
Maryse sighed and replied "if you say so !!I can't beat you… I Know that.. Please stay at home and take a rest .(he smiled and took a piece of pancake and carried it close to his mouth, that smell is nauseating him ) . I am not sending you to work .." she said and next minute alec ran to the bathroom, all in a hurry…
Maryse ran after him just to see him throwing his stomach out in the morning itself.. She left a brief sigh and walked to Alec just to hold his head and rub his back until he was done with it..
Once alec was done. Maryse offered him a glass of water.. He was still sitting on the bathroom floor in front of the wash bin,all tired and breathing heavily.. Maryse took a towel and wiped Alec's face gently not before choking it in water..
