Gun asked me to meet him a couple blocks down from my school.
I wonder why.
I think that's his car, right?
I opened the door and smiled when I saw him.
"Hi." I greeted.
"Hey." He pushed his sunglasses up and I climbed in.
"Want to put your bag in the back?" He asked.
"No, it's okay. I can carry it." I smiled and he shrugged.
"Stacy's mom, has got it going on!" I sang and bobbed my head side to side softly.
After the song was over ads came on.
"How was school?" He asked lowering the volume.
"It was school." I nodded and smiled. "How old are you again?" I asked.
"I'm 19."
I nodded.
He does not look 19.
"Are you in school?" I asked curiously.
"I'm studying for my GED."
"Oh! Are you good at math?"
"I'm decent at it."
"We should study together!" I gasped excitedly. "We're probably learning the same things!"
"I would think you'd wanna study with your friends." Gun turned left.
"I get easily distracted with them and I feel bad. They deserve the right to learn. And I feel like you'd keep me in check." I laughed.
"We'll see." He parked the car and we got out. "Bring your bag."
I did as told and walked after him into the coffee shop.
This place looks pretty pricy for a coffee shop.
I looked around curiously.
"UH- 10 dollars for a small coffee!?" I gasped.
"It's good coffee." Gun pushed me to the barista.
"Um... hi. Can I just have... uh... a small strawberry and blueberry smoothie? My stomach growled.
Well, I don't think I'll eat for a while.
"And uh, a bacon and egg with sausage sandwich? Yeah. What about you?" I looked up at Gun.
"Large black coffee please. And I'll be the same sandwich as her. And make her drink a large. The name is Gun."
HUH!?
Large!?
Well, the least I could do is buy him this drink after he spent and gifted me thousands of dollars.
"Okay, it's just gonna ask you a few questions!" She smiled and got busy writing on the cups.
How much tip should I give?
Gun reached for the no tip button and I smacked his hand away before tipping six dollars.
I pulled my backpack up to my front to look for my wallet.
Beeeep! Ding!
I looked up confused and gasped when I saw Gun's card against the card reader.
"Hey! I said I was gonna buy this coffee!"
"Oops." He said not sounding very apologetic.
I glared at him.
"Come on, let's go sit."
I looked around and noticed everyone looked up rather important.
Doctors, people in suits, everyone was dressed nicely.
I looked at Gun. He was dressed in a suit.
"I owe you times two now." I said as I sat down.
"I can live with that."
I laughed.
"What homework do you have?" Gun asked.
I pulled out my homework and he leaned closer to me to read the paper.
Jesus, he smells amazing.
I thought he'd smell overpoweringly of cigarettes but no, he smell so good.
"This is easy."
"I'm glad you think so." I snorted and our orders were brought to us.
I bit into the sandwich and holy shit!
So fluffy, warm and juicy!
I sipped my drink and it tasted like fresh fruit.
"I see why this place is so expensive!" I covered my mouth as I was mid chew.
