Yoongi and Jeongkuk were packing for Jimin's and Taehyung's engagement party, but Yoongi was struggling to get everything organized. Jeongkuk noticed his husband's frustration and offered to help.

"Let me take over, babe," Jeongkuk said with a smile. "You're not exactly the most skilled packer, are you?"

Yoongi chuckled and handed over his bag. "Hey, I resent that! I'm a great packer... I just need a little help sometimes."

Jeongkuk laughed and began expertly packing Yoongi's clothes and accessories. "Well, I'm happy to assist. We don't want you showing up to Jimin and Taehyung's engagement party looking like a mess!"

As they packed, Yoongi couldn't help but tease Jeongkuk about his own packing skills. "Hey, remember that time you forgot to pack your own underwear for our trip to the beach?"

Jeongkuk blushed and playfully hit Yoongi with a sock. "Hey, that was one time, okay? And I was stressed!"

Yoongi grinned and continued to pack. "Sure, sure. Just make sure to double-check my bag for underwear this time!"

Jeongkuk chuckled and zipped up the bag. "Don't worry, babe. I've got you covered."

Jeongkuk and Yoongi finished packing, and the awkwardness between them was still there, but they both knew they had to deal with it for now.

"we should probably talk about transportation," Jeongkuk said, trying to sound casual. "Do you want to take separate cars or...?"

Yoongi shrugged, not minding either way. "We can take the same car, it's fine."

Jeongkuk nodded, a small smile on his face. "Okay, that makes sense. We can just... pretend to be a normal couple for one last time, right?"

Yoongi chuckled, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "Yeah, something like that."

They stood there for a moment, the awkwardness still present, but a sense of resignation had settled in. They both knew this was the end of their relationship, but they were willing to put on a united front for the sake of their friends.

"Let's get going then," Jeongkuk said finally, picking up the car keys.

Yoongi nodded and followed him out the door.

Jeongkuk and Yoongi arrived at their friends' house, trying to put on a united front. As they dropped off their suitcases, Jimin and Taehyung greeted them with big smiles.

"Hey guys! So glad you could make it!" Jimin exclaimed.

Jeongkuk smiled back, trying to appear relaxed. "Yeah, we're excited to celebrate with you guys."

Yoongi nodded in agreement, but his smile felt forced. He didn't want to pretend like everything was okay, but he didn't want to ruin the party either.

As they chatted, Jeongkuk put his arm around Yoongi's shoulders, trying to make it seem like they were in good terms. But Yoongi felt stiff and uncomfortable, trying to subtly shrug off the embrace.

"So, how's married life treating you guys?" Taehyung asked, oblivious to the tension.

Jeongkuk launched into a story about their supposed "date night" last week, but Yoongi knew it was all a lie. They hadn't had a real date night in months.

Yoongi tried to play along, but it felt like he was just going through the motions. He couldn't help but wonder how long they could keep up this charade.

As they finished up their chat, Jeongkuk leaned in and whispered to Yoongi, "Let's just get through this weekend, okay?"

Yoongi nodded reluctantly, feeling like he was trapped in a web of pretend happiness.
