Wednesday. (anniversary day)

Yoongi's hands moved with love and care as he decorated the dinner table for their special anniversary celebration. He started by covering the table with a crisp white tablecloth, then added a delicate lace runner down the center. Next, he placed a beautiful vase in the middle, filling it with a stunning arrangement of Jeongkuk's favorite flowers - sunflowers and daisies.

The plates, glasses, and silverware sparkled in the soft light, arranged with precision and care. Yoongi added a few candles, their soft glow casting a warm ambiance over the setting. A small, exquisitely crafted music box sat at the edge of the table, playing a soft, romantic melody that filled the air.

On each plate, Yoongi placed a handmade card, crafted with love and filled with sweet messages and memories from their time together. The room was filled with the delicious aroma of Jeongkuk's favorite dish - a tender, slow-cooked beef stew with fresh vegetables and crusty bread.

As the final touch, Yoongi placed a small, elegantly wrapped gift at Jeongkuk's seat, adorned with a delicate bow and a sweet note that read: "To my forever love, Jeongkuk. Happy Anniversary." The table was a testament to Yoongi's love and thoughtfulness, a perfect setting for a romantic anniversary dinner. Even though he knew jungkuk may not show up but he was dedicated, maybe he did all these to show his husband he still cares about him and their marriage.

He heard a knock at their front door, he thought maybe jungkuk forgot his keys. and he went to open only to find a delivery man. "delivery for Min Jungkuk?" nodded, and he sighed. Did jungkuk buy a gift for him? He was excited as he opened the package.

Yoongi's eyes widened as he opened the package, his initial excitement quickly turning to disbelief. Inside, he found two pairs of langaries, a type of lingerie, and a card with a flirty message: "I can't wait to see ya in this - love KSJ". The familiar knot of hurt and betrayal tightened in his chest, but it wasn't surprise that gripped him - it was the painful familiarity of it all. Who's this KSJ?

He had long suspected Jeongkuk's infidelity, and this was just another confirmation. What stung most was the hypocrisy; Jeongkuk had always dismissed langaries as "too feminine" for his taste, yet here they were, gifted with a suggestive note. The disconnect between Jeongkuk's words and actions cut deep.

Moreover, the package served as a harsh reminder of their stagnant intimacy. Months had passed since they last shared a meaningful connection(intimacy) , and this gesture only highlighted the chasm between them. Yoongi's heart ached, not just from the betrayal but from the realization that their marriage had become a facade.

With a heavy sigh, Yoongi went to carefully hide the package, tucking it away in a drawer, in their bedroom.

He went back to the dinning room. Yoongi's gestures of love and hope seemed to wither away like the extinguished candles. He placed the two tickets to Jeju island. The soft glow of the candles, which had illuminated their anniversary dinner setting, was replaced by the darkness of disappointment.

With a heavy heart, Yoongi retreated back to their bedroom, the silence between them louder than any words. He couldn't shake off the feeling that their marriage was slipping away, like sand between his fingers. He laid in bed.

In the darkness, Yoongi's thoughts swirled around the questions he couldn't ask, the conversations they never had, and the love that seemed to be fading. He drifted off to sleep, the weight of their uncertain future pressing upon him, the once-celebratory atmosphere now reduced to a haunting silence.

Jungkook's eyes widened in surprise as he flipped on the light switch, illuminating the meticulously decorated dinner table. The candles, the flowers, and the meticulously set tablecloth all seemed to scream "anniversary" - a fact that Jungkook had blissfully forgotten.
