Izuku, Komori, and Camie were at the quiet residence of Kinoko. More specifically, in her room. Izuku sat on the floor next to Camie, and Komori sat upon her bed.

"What?" Komori said, stunned.

"You shouldn't have worded it like that, Camie..."

"Huh?" She raised an eyebrow. "I worded it just fine!"

"No, you didn't. You just said, "Hey, let's share this random guy!" And left it at that."

"Now I didn't say that. I said, "Hey, muscles here helped us both, and we both obviously like him, so let's, like, place nice." And such. I'd never do this with some random guy."

"Still, I don't think suddenly dropping this on her was the right move."

"What? Would you rather string her along for weeks on end? I've seen plenty of shows get ruined by grotesque triangles, and I'd rather avoid that, thanks."

"Triangles?" Izuku asked.

"Love triangles. You know what they are."

"You say a lot of unusual things, Camie. "Grotesque triangles" could mean many things when coming out of your mouth."

"Hey, hey!" Komori, despite her interest, had to cut through their bickering. "Okay, look. I happen to be romantically fond of Midoriya. But we haven't made it official. On top of that, I've only known him for like, a few days. And outside of literally saving my life, I can't be certain that it would work out in the end."

"Point is, I'm not attached to him enough to be offended by the Polycule offer, Utsushimi."

"Just call me Camie."

"My bad," she said. "Anyways, I've always been curious. So I'll accept your sharing offer just to see how it goes."

"You're curious, huh? I like that."

"Now that that's out of the way," Izuku took out a large red, new looking journal. On its hard cover was a large dirty golden circle surrounded by eight mini circles. "I'd like to see that mushroom again, Komori."

"That thing? Why?"

"Because I wanna document it in this journal I made. At first, I thought that mushroom having a quirk-like ability was just some weird one-off incident. But after those gnomes and that strange glowing glade, I think there's something bigger at play here."

Izuku placed it down and unveiled a black marker, numbering the Journal as the first of its kind.

"I wanna keep up and document every anomaly I come across, seeing as no one else seems to notice them."

"Gnomes?" Camie asked, confused.

Izuku answered casually. "Yeah. The ones that stole your phone. Anyway-"

"What gnomes?"

Izuku raised an eyebrow, as did Komori. "The... the ones that stole your phone, Camie. I threw one at their queen before taking your phone back from her."

"Queen? What are you talking about?"

Komori, Izuku, and the vestiges were speechless. Camie looked worried.

"Bro. Did I forget something?"

"Why do you think you're here, Camie?" Izuku asked.

"Well, you helped me get my phone back yesterday. And you're cute."

"Thank you. And what, or who, do you think I helped you get your phone back from?"

Camie thinks, but she freezes. "Ugh... why can't I remember? It's like it's right there, but it isn't..."
