THEY GREW UP FAST. IN A SINGLE DAY, THEY COULD WALK. THE NEXT DAY, DIPPER COULD TALK, BUT MABEL DIDN'T.
NO ONE KNEW WHY. GIVEN THEIR RAPID GROWTH, IT WAS THEORIZED THAT MABEL COULD TALK, BUT SIMPLY CHOSE NOT TOO.
IN A SINGLE WEEK, THEY WERE AS FUNCTIONAL AS A FOUR YEAR OLD. BY THAT AGE, THEY DISPLAYED MORE... PERSONALITY.
DIPPER WAS A VIOLENT, CONNIVING CHILD. HE LOVED TO FIGHT AND WOULD JUMP AT THE CHANCE TO DO SO.
BUT HIS FIGHTS WERE STRANGE.
HE DISPLAYED A STRANGE ABILITY. A SUPERPOWER OF SORTS.
WHEREVER THERE WAS SUFFERING, THERE WAS DIPPER PINES. AND HE THRIVED IN IT. THE MORE OTHERS SUFFERED, THE STRONGER HE BECAME.
FEOM THEIR SUFFERING, HE STOCKPILED ENERGY. NEGATIVE ENERGY, WHICH HE COULD EXPRESS IN VARIOUS WAYS. HIS EXPRESSION OF THIS NEGATIVE ENERGY WAS COLORED BLUE.
WHEN CONFRONTED ABOUT THIS SUPERPOWER, HE DIDN'T REFER TO IT AS SUCH.
HE REFERRED TO IT AS HIS "META".
AND THIS META DIDN'T HAVE A NAME.
HE DECIDED TO NAME IT.
MALEFIC ENERGY STOCKPILE.
IT ALLOWED HIM TO GAIN STRENGTH FROM THE SUFFERING AND NEGATIVE ENERGY OF OTHERS.
DAY IN AND DAY OUT, DIPPER PINES WOULD EXPLOIT HIS META TO HIS HEART'S CONTENT.
THE MORE HIS POWER GREW, THE MORE WICKED HE BECAME.
HE CROSSES A LINE.
WENDY CORDUROY WAS FOUND DEAD, NAILED TO A TREE AND LASER BURNT FROM THE HEAD DOWN.
HER FAMILY MOURNED FOR DAYS.
DIPPER PINES WASN'T CAUGHT.

Bill Cipher hummed as he went shopping throughout the chaotic cesspool that was Japan.
"Hm..."
And by shopping, he was currently holding an innocent nuclear family hostage, deciding which one to turn into a statue for his throne.
"It's so hard to choose, you know? Which is why I won't!" With a single laser to his eye, they were all turned to statues.
"Ah, all in a day's..." A vine passes through him.
"Unhand them, foul demon!" Ibara Shiozaki of Class 1B demands. She was joined by the rest of her class.
"Unhand them, huh?" Bill's pupil constricts. "Sure!" He dropped the petrified family. Before Ibara could catch them, Bill re-catches them and laughs.
"Ah, I'm just kidding. Anyways, since you can't do anything, you may as well do this for me."
"Like we'd ever do anything for you." Awase spat. "I'd sooner roll over and-" He was a black mark on the floor in a single blast.
"Anyways, you're gonna do something for me, right?" Bill asked over their tears. "Find a small child with white hair and a horn for me, and I'll let this family go free."
His hand ignites in blue fire. "Do we have a deal? Whoever the leader is?"
Kendo fearlessly steps up. Her class protests this, but she raises a hand to silence them.
