Japan was in flames. Figuratively, of course. But they were in a horrible spot. Almost all of their best heroes were either dead or quirkless, the biggest blows to society being the deaths of All Might, Best Jeanist, Crust, and Endeavor. Plus, the quirklessness of Hawks. Tens of thousands of people died and many, many more were homeless. The government scrambled to put emotional fires out and fix the massive amount of damage Mugen did.
But it wasn't all bad. While multiple top heroes did die, two more were born. Izuku Midoriya and Kinoko Komori, as it turns out, were recorded. Their fight against Mugen was posted everywhere, and they were hailed as heroes by almost everyone in Japan.
Had it not been for them, the villains would've been emboldened by the death of so many heroes and made their move, causing further chaos. But Izuku's and Komori's power frightened them. It pushed them back into the shadows. It also somewhat maintained the people's hope and trust in heroes as a whole.
As for the damage to many cities, a certain construction company, alongside many others, was tasked with making repairs. Needless to say, the Uraraka's were paid handsomely.
Of course, due to Izuku's poor mental state and many other aftermath related factors, such as mass deaths in many families, UA and many other hero schools had given their students an indefinite amount of time off.

All of the girls, minus Chikuchi (due to her needing to take care of Eri), were at Saiko's house in her surprisingly large bedroom. Even Ippan was here. Saiko brings everyone a glass of milk tea while they watch a movie. Saiko's bed could fit all of them easily.
"Damn, smarty pants. Your bedroom can fit like a dozen of mine." Camie said. She was on her front with her feet in the air.
"My quirk multiplies my IQ based on the tea I drink. I need ample space if I am to express my intelligence." Saiko responds, sitting next to Camie's arm.
"Neat."
"Neat indeed, love." Saiko looks around. "Now, where was that remote?"
"Here." Reiko levitated it over to her. She was resting her head on a pillow.
"Most appreciated, Reiko." Saiko turns up the volume of the movie just a little bit.
"Today is a great day." Pony said happily.
"Why?" Komori sniped. "Because you get to cuddle with the big fox lady? After we agreed to take turns?" Ippan was in her back, and Pony was sitting on her abdomen. Komori growled at her.
"Yup!" Pony dove between Ippan's chest. She silently squirmed, wondering how she got here. Not that she was upset or anything.

PAST

A bit after the battle, Ippan sniffed out Komori and Izuku and returned to them.
"I can't believe you two won!" She said with a little relief in her voice. "That guy was scary, lemme tell you. I think even..."
Komori gave her a look. After seeing the state Izuku was in, she avoided talking about the battle.
"So... my house was destroyed. But before that, I was actually evicted for obvious reasons. I planned on moving anyway, but all of this kind of threw me off, so... it'd be nice if I could stay with one you while I get sorted."
She wanted Izuku specifically to offer her a place, but either one would do just fine.

PRESENT DAY

While the movie played, Fuwa noticed that Izuku was spaced out. He was sitting up straight with his legs crossed. She tapped his shoulder and got nothing. She gently shook him.
