Sebastian's POV

"You thought I slept with her, didn't you?" Ominis goaded me as we headed out to the grounds for lunch. "Jules. You thought I fucked her, not Anne. And that's why you came barging into her room this morning."

I ignored him, I wasn't going to fall for him baiting me.

"Because you failed to sleep with her," he smirked.

"How would you know?" I glowered at him.

"Come off it, Sebastian. You brag to me about your conquests practically seconds after pulling out."

"Jules is not a conquest to me, Ominis. I have real feelings for her, ok? And I told her last night. And we made out."

"My point precisely. You 'made out'...? What are you, a Third Year?" he said mockingly. "And that's why you thought I swooped in. To finish off what you started."

"Yes alright Ominis! Fine. I did think that. You know why?" I scowled angrily. "Because you're a petty little prick like that, and I don't trust you."

"Oh wow, tell me how you really feel," Ominis clutched his chest dramatically. "A friendship built on a solid foundation of mistrust. Healthy."

"You did this," I bit back.

"Boys, boys, boys!" Anne groaned, shoving herself between us as she threw her arms over our shoulders. "Please for the love of Merlin, shut the hell up!"

"Where did you come from, Victor Crookwood?" Ominis teased her, snatching the sunglasses off her face, making her hiss at the bright sunlight invading her eyes.

"Hey, give those back," she grabbed them back off him and shoved them on her face. "You know, it's quite difficult for one to hold their liquor when they've been living with a debilitating curse for so long... so don't judge, alright?"

"Don't tell me you two are teasing Anne for being in bits," Jules shoved Ominis playfully as she appeared beside us. "Here Anne, I swiped this for you," she handed Anne a Wiggenweld potion. "For your hangover."

"Oh, you precious angel!" Anne hugged Jules and downed the potion, perking up immediately.

"It's alive!" I teased, holding my arms out à la Frankenstein.

We all plonked down on the grass, I made sure to sit beside Jules. I couldn't wipe the smile off my face just being in her presence, she was making my heart race. I tried to play it cool but I kept catching her eye and exchanging flirty looks.

"Oh, what the hell," I smirked, and draped my arm around her shoulders. She leaned into me, wrapping one arm around my waist.

Anne gasped. "Is this a thing?" she squealed, clapping excitedly.

"Don't worry about it, sis," I chuckled. "Nothing for you to concern yourself with."

A few other friends joined us for lunch, making 'eyes' at Jules and I. But I didn't care. I wanted everyone to know she was mine.

"Wanna get out of here after class?" I asked Jules. "I need to grab a few things from Hogsmeade and I'd love some company."

"What's in it for me?" she nudged me with the cutest smile spreading across her lips.

"Mmm... how 'bout a Butterbeer?" I offered flirtatiously. "You know, a little hair of the dog!"

"Butterbeer?" she scoffed. "You know I don't really drink any more."

I raised an eyebrow at her. "You drank a Butterbeer last night..."

"Well, perhaps last night I caved because I needed some liquid courage..."
