The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a soft golden glow over the room. Twinkle stirred slightly, her body still wrapped in the warmth of Kunj's arms. As her eyes fluttered open, she found herself nestled against him, her head resting on his chest. His steady breathing and the comforting rhythm of his heartbeat brought a soft smile to her lips.

She gently tilted her head to look at him. Kunj, still asleep, looked peaceful, his usual playful arrogance softened by the vulnerability of sleep. How did I get so lucky? Twinkle thought to herself.

But as the quiet moment stretched, Twinkle couldn't ignore the tiny knot forming in her stomach. Last night had been magical, but what did it mean? Where were they headed from here?

Her thoughts were interrupted when Kunj stirred beside her. Slowly, he opened his eyes, his gaze immediately finding hers. A lazy smile spread across his face, and his voice was husky with sleep as he spoke, "Good morning, Mrs. Sarna."

Twinkle felt a blush creep up her cheeks. "Good morning," she whispered back, biting her lip as memories of the night before flooded her mind.

Kunj's smile widened as he caught her shy expression. "Kya baat hai, Mrs. Sarna? Ab sharmaa bhi rahi ho?"

Twinkle playfully slapped his arm. "Shut up, Kunj."

He laughed, his arms tightening around her. "Never thought I'd see the day when Twinkle Taneja would be blushing like this."

Twinkle rolled her eyes, trying to hide her smile. "Uff, tum na! Kabhi toh serious ho jao."

But just as they were about to settle into another playful banter, a knock on the door shattered the moment. Twinkle quickly sat up, pulling the blanket around her, and Kunj groaned, running a hand through his hair.

"Ab kya ho gaya?" Kunj muttered under his breath.

Before they could respond, the door creaked open slightly, and Usha's voice called out, "Twinkle, Kunj, tum dono neeche aao. Mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai."

Twinkle and Kunj exchanged a quick glance. Twinkle's heart raced. Baat? Itni subah?

Kunj sighed, leaning in to plant a quick kiss on Twinkle's forehead before he got up. "Let's face it together," he whispered with a wink.

---

Downstairs, Usha sat at the dining table, her expression serious but calm. Twinkle's nervousness grew as they approached her, but Kunj's reassuring hand on her lower back steadied her nerves.

"Kya baat hai, Maa?" Kunj asked, sitting down beside her.

Usha looked at both of them, her eyes softening as they rested on Twinkle. "Beta," she began, addressing Twinkle, "Tum dono shaadi ko kuch time ho gaya hai ab. Aur tum dono ke rishtey mein bohot improvement dekh rahi hoon."

Twinkle felt her face flush as Usha's words sank in. Improvement? Did she know about last night?

Usha smiled softly. "Main sirf yeh kehna chahti hoon ke ab tum dono ko ek naye phase mein jaana chahiye."

Kunj raised an eyebrow. "Naya phase? Kya matlab hai, Maa?"

Usha's smile widened slightly, and Twinkle's heart dropped as she realized where this conversation was headed. "Beta," Usha said, her tone gentle but firm, "Mujhe iss ghar mein ab ek chhota sa Sarna dekhna hai. Tum dono ko ab baby ke baare mein sochna chahiye."

Twinkle's heart raced, and she instinctively looked at Kunj, who seemed equally caught off-guard. Baby? Twinkle thought, her mind racing. They had just started figuring things out between themselves-how could they possibly be ready for such a huge step?

Kunj cleared his throat, trying to form a response. "Maa, abhi... hum dono thoda..."

Before he could finish, Usha cut him off. "Mujhe pata hai ke tum dono ke rishtey mein naye developments ho rahe hain. Lekin, yeh waqt perfect hai." Her gaze softened as she looked at Twinkle. "Twinkle beta, tum iss ghar ka chirag banogi, aur ek nayi khushi le aogi."

Twinkle smiled awkwardly, unsure of what to say. Kunj, sensing her discomfort, quickly intervened. "Maa, yeh decision hum dono ka hoga, aur jab sahi waqt aayega, tab hum zaroor iss baare mein sochenge."

Usha nodded, but there was a glint in her eyes that suggested this wasn't the last they'd hear of this topic. "Main samajhti hoon, beta. Lekin main bas chahti hoon ke tum dono yeh zaroor socho."

With that, Usha stood up and left the room, leaving Twinkle and Kunj in a silence that felt heavier than before.

---

As soon as they were alone, Twinkle let out a deep breath. "Oh my God," she whispered, running a hand through her hair. "Kunj, did she just-"

Kunj sighed, pulling her close and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "Yeah, she did."

Twinkle groaned, burying her face in his chest. "Baby? Now? We're barely getting through this marriage ourselves!"

Kunj chuckled, his chest rumbling beneath her. "Relax, Twinkle. We don't have to make any decisions right now."

Twinkle pulled back slightly, looking up at him with wide eyes. "But what if she keeps bringing it up? Kunj, I'm not ready for this!"

Kunj's expression softened, and he gently cupped her face in his hands. "Twinkle, we'll handle it. Together." He paused, brushing his thumb over her cheek. "And we'll only take that step when we're both ready, okay?"

Twinkle nodded, her heart swelling with affection for him. "Okay."

Kunj leaned in, kissing her softly on the forehead. "Ab tension mat lo. Let's just focus on us for now."

Twinkle smiled, feeling a wave of relief wash over her. As long as they were in this together, she knew they could handle whatever came their way.

---

Later that evening, after the initial shock of Usha's baby request had settled, Twinkle found herself alone in their room, reflecting on the whirlwind of emotions she had experienced that day. Her mind raced with thoughts of the future-could she really see herself as a mother? And more importantly, was she ready for that kind of responsibility?

Her thoughts were interrupted when Kunj entered the room, a playful smirk on his face. "Thinking about Maa's request?"

Twinkle gave him a look, rolling her eyes. "Ugh, don't remind me."

Kunj laughed, walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her from behind. "I was just thinking... we should have some fun before the baby conversation takes over."

Twinkle turned in his arms, raising an eyebrow. "Oh really? What kind of fun?"

Kunj's smirk deepened as he leaned in, his lips brushing against hers. "The kind that makes you forget all your worries."

Twinkle's breath hitched, her body responding instantly to his closeness. "Kunj," she whispered, her voice barely audible, "we really shouldn't..."

But her words trailed off as Kunj's lips found hers, capturing them in a slow, passionate kiss that made her forget every protest. His hands slid down her waist, pulling her closer as the kiss deepened, sending a wave of heat through her entire body.

For a moment, nothing else mattered. Not Usha's request, not the future-just the two of them, wrapped up in each other, lost in the intensity of the moment.

As Kunj pulled her down onto the bed, Twinkle couldn't help but think that, whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.
