Rohini's POV:

It is the shopping day today, and I am pretty much nervous cause I don't wanna see my family. But excited because after all it is my wedding shopping. I got ready in a simple outfit not wanting my family to give reasons to taunt me.

I went out and saw him already

I went out and saw him already.

"Hey, let's go," He said.

"yeah," I managed to say cause he was looking so hot. Girls will be having a hard time and I don't want other girls to see him. HUH? I don't know why.

Author's POV:

The streets bustled with shoppers, and the air was thick with the scent of spices and marigolds as they made their way to the high-end bridal boutique. Rohini walked a few paces behind her family, her heart heavy with dread.

Her mother's sour expressions and sharp comments had already set the tone for the day, and she could feel the judgment simmering just beneath the surface. Today was supposed to be her wedding shopping day, but it hardly felt like a celebration just like she expected. Aditya's family arrived soon after, warm smiles and easy laughter brightening the atmosphere.

They entered the boutique together—a luxurious showroom overflowing with lehengas in every shade of red, gold, and emerald, each more elaborate than the last. Mr. ADITYA KAPOOR had booked the whole showroom so that no one would disturb him or his family.

Before Rohini could even take in the beauty around her, Shruti's {her mother} shrill voice cut through the air. "Rohini, look at these here," she barked, gesturing to a rack of the simplest lehengas, their colors muted, designs plain.

"These are perfectly fine for you. No need to overindulge with expensive things for just one day."

Rohini's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, her fingers tightening on her purse. But before she could respond, Sonal {his mother} mother stepped in, her voice calm but pointed.

"Actually," she said, resting a hand on Rohini's shoulder, "a bride deserves to feel like a queen on her wedding day. Let her try on something that makes her happy, hmm?"
