Aditya's POV:

I woke up around 7:00 a.m., did my morning business, and went to the gym. After working out for about an hour, I made a bowl of oats with blueberries and dry fruits. I took a long nice bath. I went downstairs to find my mom and dad having tea and talking. As soon as they noticed me they,

"Good morning," They both said with a soft smile.

"Good morning," I replied. I went to the kitchen, made tea, and sat in the hall.

I noticed my father wanted to say something to me, but was hesitating.

"Papa, what happened? Anything you wanna talk about?" I asked.

"Well, the thing is, umm you know my friend Aadarsh Mishra?" He said

"Yes, I know him, Dad currently his company is facing some major issues and losses right?" I asked.

"Yes, you would have to marry his daughter, The only way his company can be saved is by you marrying her. An alliance" He said.

"Dad you know I don't wanna marry anyone, I don't believe in love. Not anymore after I saw what Sanjana did with you, Still you want to ruin that girl's life by making her step into a loveless marriage?" I replied. I realized Sonal Maa was there too.

"Let's just meet them and the girl. I have met the girl twice or thrice and she seemed like a good person. And every person is not the same beta." Dad requested.

"Please don't force me in this Dad," I said.

"Marry her or forget the CEO position," He said.

"Dad this is blackmail," I said

"You are marrying her." He said and left.

I went towards my car, and driver Kaka was waiting for me, I sat and we started going towards the office. This day is gonna be a long and hectic one. I thought.

Author's POV:

The city street is bustling with the usual morning traffic and chatter. Aditya, dressed in a sharply tailored suit, strides confidently toward his office. His phone buzzes repeatedly, but he ignores it, focused on the day ahead.

As he reaches an intersection near a busy chaiwala (tea stall), a sleek black SUV pulls up sharply. The door opens, and out steps Rohini, impeccably dressed in a dark blazer over a silk blouse, paired with a pencil skirt. Her aura is cool and screams confidence-controlled authority, as she adjusts her designer sunglasses.

Aditya: "How can I help you?" {looking up from his phone}

Rohini steps forward. She pulls out a crisp file from her leather briefcase and holds it up as if presenting a case.

Rohini: "Aditya Sharma? I believe you've been avoiding my calls."

"He is such a jerk, He doesn't value others' effort and time." She thought.

Aditya:(raising an eyebrow, slightly annoyed)"And you are?"

Rohini: "Rohini Mishra. I'm from XYZ legal, and one of our clients has filed an issue regarding infringement."

Aditya: "Ah, the infamous Rohini Mehta. I wasn't aware I was meeting with a lawyer today."

Rohini:(smiling with a hint of challenge)." Well, I'm not just any lawyer. I'm the one ensuring your company meets its end of the agreement. Seems like we have a lot to discuss."

Aditya glances at his watch, clearly agitated

Aditya:" I'm on my way to a meeting, and I'm not in the mood for legal theatrics in front of my company. "

Roshini:(stepping closer)"This is as urgent as it gets. The companies are on the brink of a major conflict, and I need your attention now."

"He is egoistic." She thought.

Aditya: (sighs, trying to remain composed)"Alright, what's the issue?"

Rohini: "Shouldn't we sit and talk rather than stand outside? It is okay for me if you want to give a show to everyone." "Smirking"

"She just can't talk straight. She's always rude and to the point. But she is beautiful-?" he thought.

Aditya: (clearly agitated)" Let's go to my cabin. Shall we? "

Rohini:" After you Mr. Kapoor. "She said after giving a sarcastic smile.

Here, Aditya was hating the attitude of this woman.

IN THE CABIN

Aditya: "So, Ms. Mishra to what do I owe the pleasure? I wasn't aware we had a scheduled meeting."

Roshni: (crossing her arms, her expression stern)" Mr. Kapoor, I'm Rohini Mishra from XYZ Legal. I'm here on behalf of our client, and it seems there's been some miscommunication-or should I say, an oversight-regarding the recent IP infringement issue."

Aditya: (raising an eyebrow, leaning back in his chair)" Infringement issue? I'm not familiar with any such claims against our company. Perhaps you're mistaken."

Rohini: (coolly)" I assure you, Mr. Kapoor, I'm not mistaken. We have substantial evidence suggesting that your company's latest app has encroached upon our client's patented technology. This is a serious matter."

Aditya: (narrowing his eyes) "Patented technology, you say? And what exactly are we talking about? I'd like to see this evidence before jumping to conclusions."

Rohini: (placing a folder on the desk)" I'm glad you asked. Here's a detailed report outlining the alleged infringement, including the specific patents and sections of our client's technology that have been duplicated. We believe this warrants a formal discussion."

Aditya: (flipping through the folder, his expression shifting to one of concern) "This is quite a claim. And you're sure this isn't just a misunderstanding? Our development team prides itself on innovation and avoiding intellectual property issues."

Rohini: (leaning forward slightly) "I'm sure. Our investigation was thorough. We've also attempted to resolve this matter amicably, but it appears we need to escalate this to legal proceedings if it's not addressed promptly."

Aditya: (setting the folder down, his tone sharp)" I see. Well, let me assure you, Ms. Mishra, we take these matters seriously. I'm willing to review the evidence and discuss how we can resolve this without going to court."

Rohini: (nodding, but her tone remains firm)" That's a start. However, I want to make it clear that we expect a timely response and cooperation. We're prepared to take legal action if necessary, but I'm hopeful we can find a resolution before it comes to that."

Aditya: (leaning forward, meeting her gaze)" I appreciate your directness, Ms. Mishra. I'll have our legal team look into this immediately. But be assured, we won't be intimidated or rushed into anything. We'll address this thoroughly."

Rohini: (smiling slightly, her demeanor unyielding) "That's all I ask. I'll be in touch once we've reviewed your response. Have a good day, Mr. Kapoor."

Aditya: (nodding, his expression unreadable)" You too, Ms. Mishra."

As Rohini was leaving, Aditya was getting late for an important meeting, He also went with her downstairs. They both parted ways not knowing that they going to be bound in a marriage soon.
