Later that night, Killua and Gon met in one of the hidden passages beneath the palace. It was their usual meeting spot when they needed privacy. But tonight, there was a new intensity in Killua's eyes, a look that Gon had rarely seen—determination mixed with something more dangerous.

"She won't stop until she controls every part of my life," Killua said, his voice low and urgent. "I can't let her do this, Gon. I can't."

Gon leaned against the stone wall, watching Killua pace. "I know, but there has to be another way. You can talk to the court, rally some support. You don't have to fight her head-on."

Killua stopped in his tracks, turning to face Gon. "No, that's not enough. She has too much power. No one would stand up to her, and even if they did, they wouldn't be strong enough. The only way to stop her is to take her down."

Gon's expression darkened, concern etched across his face. "Killua, you're talking about overthrowing the queen. That's not something you can just do. It's dangerous—you could get hurt."

Killua's fists clenched at his sides. He could feel the frustration building inside him, the anger boiling over. "I'm not afraid of her anymore, Gon! This is my life! I can't keep letting her take everything from me!"

Gon pushed himself off the wall, stepping closer. "But this isn't just about you, Killua. It's about the entire kingdom. If you try to overthrow her, it could lead to chaos. You could lose more than just your freedom."

Killua's jaw tightened, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew Gon was right—overthrowing his mother would be dangerous, reckless even. But he couldn't stand the thought of being trapped any longer, of living under her thumb for the rest of his life.

"I can't just sit here and do nothing," Killua said, his voice strained. "I have to do something."

Gon's eyes softened, and he reached out, placing a hand on Killua's arm. "I know. But there's a smarter way to fight back. We'll figure it out. Together."

Killua stared at him for a long moment, the weight of Gon's words pressing down on him. He could feel the sincerity in Gon's voice, the care behind every word. But as much as he trusted Gon, as much as he valued his friendship, Killua knew that he couldn't wait any longer.

His mind was made up.

"I'm sorry, Gon," Killua said quietly, his voice barely above a whisper. "But I have to do this."

Before Gon could respond, Killua turned and bolted for the exit, ignoring Gon's call for him to stop. He didn't look back. His heart was pounding in his chest, adrenaline surging through him as he sprinted through the palace's secret passageways and out into the night.

He had no clear plan, no idea where he was going, but he couldn't stay. Not anymore. He had to escape the palace, escape his mother, and find a way to take control of his own life.

The night was cold as Killua ran through the darkened streets outside the palace, his breath coming in short gasps, his mind racing with thoughts of rebellion. His heart pounded in his chest, not just from the physical exertion but from the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside him. He didn't have a plan yet, but the overwhelming need to escape, to break free from the life that had been forced upon him, pushed him forward.

The moonlight bathed the deserted streets in a ghostly glow, casting long shadows behind him as he weaved through alleys, avoiding the palace guards patrolling the area. He didn't know where he was going, only that he couldn't stay under his mother's control a moment longer. Her influence was like a noose tightening around his neck, and every step away from the palace felt like a small breath of freedom.
