(A/N. This is the POV of the valkyrie who will take Sophie to Valhalla)
Valkyrie's POV
I was flying over New York, looking for people doing any brave exploits that would get them killed when I noticed a very large number of people wearing black cloaks who seemed to be fighting a group of teenagers and four strange creatures. Three of them looked like armadillos if they were humanoid, and at least seven feet tall, while the fourth looked like a giant that shrunk down to similar size of the armadillo creature and had hot pink pigtails.
I started to circle the fighting from the air and noticed a blonde female facing a taller person wearing the black cloak and had a creepy white eye on the sleeve.
The cloaked person was holding a sleek silver gun like thing and shot at the female, who leapt out the way just before the blast hit her. She then proceeded to throw something at the cloaked attacker but narrowly missed, seemingly nicking the person on the shoulder before hitting the building behind them.
I circled closer and looked at the others on the small battlefield and saw that the cloaked figures had managed to surround the teenagers and the creatures and were busy tying them up. The female that was still facing off against the figure was concentrating for some reason, while her opponent was recovering from the injury on their shoulder.
Across the battlefield, I noticed a strict looking woman in a massive green dress walking up to the tied up prisoners. There was something strange about her appearance that I couldn't quite place. I gasped when I realised that her ears were pointed.
"Sophie. It's over!" The tall female shouted across the road. The girl, whom I assumed was Sophie, looked over and saw the pile of tied up people in front of the strange woman. "We've won. Again." The way the woman phrased this made me think that they fought frequently.
I looked over at Sophie and saw extreme anger and hatred filling her features. I flew slightly further up in case something happened, I didn't want to be caught in the crossfire. Suddenly, black lightning started to leap from Sophie, making contact with every person wearing one of the black cloaks and the woman, causing them to collapse to the ground immediately, writhing pain. I was needless to say, shocked at this display of pure power. I spotted one of the lightning bolts severing the ropes on the captives, freeing them. At the edge of the clearing, behind Sophie, there stood a strange, dark figure holding what looked like a massive bow. With me watching, the figure notched an arrow and sent it flying straight through Sophie's back and out her chest, right where her heart was.
Knowing what to do, I immediately flew down to where Sophie lay to get her soul and take her to Hotel Valhalla.

The valkyrie's name is not 'Valkyrie' just to clear any confusion. The POV is called 'Valkyrie's POV' to not spoil who the valkyrie is until Sophie and the Valkyrie are formally introduced to each other.
Just to stop any plot holes, Sophie's friends were unconscious but woke up before the Neverseen members and escaped without capturing anyone because of injuries.
I will try to get the next chapter out soon.
