The heaviness in your chest, replaying the events. Jungkook's frozen expression, the way his eyes darkened as he watched you and Namjoon at the doorway—it all lingers in your mind, clouding the brief moments of peace you'd found.

You try to shake it off, focusing instead on making yourself breakfast, but your appetite is nowhere to be found. The quiet of your apartment feels suffocating, reminding you of everything you're trying to escape. Just as you sit at the table, contemplating whether to push through the day or crawl back into bed, there's a knock at your door.

It's Lana. She steps in with her signature confident stride, her sunglasses perched on her head and a look of determination on her face. Without missing a beat, she scans the state of your place, then looks back at you.

"Alright," she starts, hands on her hips. "Enough of this. You're coming with me, and you're staying at my place for the next week."

You blink, caught off guard by her sudden declaration. "What? Lana, I'm fine—"

"No, you're not," she cuts you off, shaking her head. "I saw how you were last night and Namjoon told me Jungkook is back so I don't care how much you say you're feeling better. You need to get out of here, clear your head. And honestly, I can't sit by and watch you mope around while that asshole lives next door."

You open your mouth to protest, but Lana's gaze is unwavering, determined. She steps closer, her voice softening. "Look, I'm not asking. You've been through enough, and you need a change of scenery. Plus, my place is closer to all the good brunch spots," she adds with a teasing smile, trying to lighten the mood.

You sigh, torn between wanting to stay and hide in your cocoon of sadness and knowing that maybe, just maybe, Lana is right. The thought of spending a week somewhere else—away from the constant reminders of Jungkook, away from the memories—sounds tempting.

"Okay," you say finally, your voice quiet but resolute. "I'll stay with you."

Lana's smile brightens, and she claps her hands together. "Perfect! I've already packed up some of my best spa products. We'll have facials, movie nights, and maybe hit the town if you're up for it." She glances at you with a glint in her eyes. "And I'm serious about brunch. We'll get mimosas, lots of them."

You can't help but smile, even if it's small. Lana always has a way of making things feel better, even if it's just by dragging you out of your own misery.

"Let me pack," you say, heading toward your room.

Within an hour, you're packed and out the door, leaving behind the suffocating silence of your apartment. As you close the door behind you, there's a sense of relief, like a weight being lifted off your shoulders. Maybe this week away will be exactly what you need.

As the two of you drive to Lana's place, she keeps the conversation light, talking about everything except Jungkook or your heartbreak. It's a welcome distraction, and by the time you arrive at her apartment, you feel a little more at ease.

"Welcome to Casa de Lana," she says with a flourish as she opens the door. "Your sanctuary for the next week."

You step inside and feel an instant wave of calm. Her apartment is a stylish yet cozy escape, full of warm tones, plush furniture, and the scent of lavender. It's the perfect place to get lost in and forget about everything.

"Make yourself at home," Lana says, leading you to the guest room. "I'm serious about the facials later. But first, how about a lazy day in bed with takeout and a rom-com marathon?"

You nod, grateful for her care. "That sounds perfect."

...

Over the course of the week, Lana becomes your rock, pulling you out of your low moments and pushing you to get back on your feet. Every morning starts with her dragging you to Pilates, something you never thought you'd enjoy, but somehow the rhythmic breathing and slow, purposeful movements help ground you. She makes sure you and Mila have plans for every night, whether it's dinner at a cute restaurant or dancing at a club to let off steam. With your friends around, the weight on your chest begins to lift, and for the first time in weeks, you start feeling like yourself again.
