Sportsmaster and Tigress carry an injured Rick to Dragon king's lab. They throw Rick onto the lab table and strape him down with metal restraints.
Principal Bowin drags Beth to a chair and ties her to it.
"Mr. King for this experiment I want you to read Hourman's mind to get more information" Dragon king explains.
"But he could block my thoughts" Henry said.
"He's weak so it'll be easier to read his mind" Dragon king said.
"Okay I'll try" Henry said.
"But first Bowin use your talents to weaken Hourman's mind" Dragon king said to Principal Bowin.
Principal Bowin takes out her volien and plays it. Sending out a sonic wave. Rick let's out a cry of pain.
"Rick !" Beth shouts.
"Stop! I don't want to hurt him" Henry said.
"This is just to weaken him" Dragon king said.
Henry holds his head and begins to read Rick's mind.
"He's weak that all he can think about how much pain he is in" Henry said.
Henry looks deep into Rick's memories. He suddenly sees Rick's mom dying in a bed and then becoming the new Hourman.
Tears appear in Henry's eyes. He looks at Rick who had tears streaming down his face. They look at each other.
"Your mother passed away" Henry whispers.
Rick looks at him sadly.
"I know how you feel my mother passed away" Henry admits.
"I'm sorry" Rick thought.
Henry hears his apology.
"Oh boo ho my mom died what a bunch of babies !" Sportsmaster mocks.
"It's called having feelings you big meaning!" Beth shouts.
"Mr. King find what you can about the justice society" Dragon king said.
Henry sees all the super heroes of the Justice society.
"I see the remaining superheroes of Justice society" Henry said.
"Who are remaining members?" Dragon king asked.
"Wild cat, Jay gerrick, Green lantern and Stripe" Henry said.
"Only five superheroes?"Icicle asked.
"Very good Mr. King" Dragon king said.
"Could we let them go ?" Henry asked.
Beth and the rest of the villains look at Henry in suprise.
"We can't just let them go ! They're witness to our plan" Icicle said.
"But Rick is injured and he could die" Henry said.
"We need him alive" Dragon king said.
"But when do we let them go ?" Henry asked.
"We don't" Dragon king said.
Henry looks at Rick who looked very weak and then he looks at Beth.
He walks over to Beth and unties her from the chair.
"What are you doing?" Icicle demands.
"Calm down Icicle" Dragon king said simply.
"Are you okay Beth ?" Henry asked her.
"Yeah I'm okay" Beth said.
"I want you to take care of Rick. He's in bad state and I don't know how long he'll last" Henry explains.
"Okay I will" Beth said as she walks up to Rick.
"Beth ?" Rick breathes out.
"It's okay I'm here" Beth said as she holds Rick's hand.
"That's nice" Rick whispers.
He looks at Beth and then Henry.
"Read my thoughts" Rick begs Henry.
Henry holds his head and begins to read Rick's thoughts. His thoughts suprised Henry.
"What is he thinking?" Dragon king asked.
"He wants to be with his mother" Henry said.
"But his mother is dead unless... Oh no Rick don't think that please! Your mother would want you to live" Beth shouts.
Rick looks at Beth before tearing up.
"I want to see her again" Henry hearing Rick's thoughts.
