Hourman and his partner Wild Cat look at the injured Starman who held the cosmic staff in his hands.
"The Injustice society is after my staff" Starman said weakly.
"Your losing blood" Wild Cat said.
"I'm not gonna make it. Hourman take the staff and hide it" Starman said weakly.
"Okay I will" Hourman promised.
Starman gives the staff to Hourman before dying in Wild Cat's arms.
"Find somewhere safe to hide the staff" Wildcat said.
"Once I do I'll head back to our hide out" Hourman said.
"See you then" Wild cat said.
But Hourman never returned.

Hourman looks Courtney in the eye.
"There's no time explain take this staff and hide it" Hourman tells her.
"Okay I will" Courtney said.
Hourman smiles at her.
"Are you a superhero?" Courtney asked him.
"Yep they call me Hourman" Hourman said.
Courtney smiles.
"Now go" Hourman said.
Courtney runs off and Hourman gets captured by Sports master and Tigress.

Courtney comes home with the cosmic staff in her hands. Pat greets her.
"Courtney?" Pat asked.
"Pat your not gonna believe this but I meet a superhero" Courtney said.
"Is that the cosmic staff ?" Pat asked shocked.
"You know what this is ?" Courtney asked.
"Come with me" Pat said.
Courtney follows Pat into the basement that had tons of boxs. Pat walks over to the boxs and takes out a picture showing it to Courtney.
It was a picture of Pat in red striped shirt and a man in blue and white suit.
"That's my partner Starman" Pat said.
"Is this staff his ?" Courtney asked.
"Yeah something bad must to happen to Starman. Who gave you the staff ?" Pat asked.
"He called himself Hourman" Courtney replies.
Suddenly Pat's phone rings.
"Wild cat what's up ?" Pat asked.
"Stripe I have some bad news Starman is dead and Hourman got captured by the Injustice society" Wild cat said over the phone.
"Okay I'll figure something out" Pat said before he hangs up.
Pat looks at Courtney.
"There's more that I got to show you" Pat said as he pulls out a blue costume with stars.
"Pretty" Courtney said.
"This is Starman's old costume and if the staff is active to you I think you should take up the matel" Pat said.
"Pat I'm not a superhero" Courtney said.
"But you can be" Pat said.
Pat walks over to the a big sheet that was covering something big. He takes off the cover to reveal a big robot.
"This is my robotic suit I built it myself" Pat said.
"So what are you saying Pat ?" Courtney asked.
"We can be superheroes together if your willing to work with me" Pat offers.
"I'm in Pat" Courtney said with a grin.
