Cas' POV

I stood looking out the window watching the moving guys put my desk into the truck. I sighed and closed my eyes sadly. I had lived here my whole life. Every day I spent running around in the back yard with my brothers. Mikey had always been the one to play with me no matter what he was doing. It didn't matter if he was doing homework. If I wanted to fly a kite, we flew a kite. If I wanted to jump from the roof....We never did that. I did but he didn't know about it until I was flying through the air and Mikey caught me just as I was about to hit the ground.

Then there was, Dean. The shy sandy blonde, freckled boy who I met eleven years ago. The boy who I used to chase around the front house and play cops and robbers with. I specifically remember one memory with the Winchesters that happened ten years ago.

---•Flashback•---

I helped Sammy into his high chair like he requested and started looking through the cabinets. As a five year old I had to climb on top the counters.

"What would you like for breakfast, Sammy?" I asked.

"Bean." He squeaked.

"That's not a breakfast but okay..." I climbed down and reach into the freezer for some green beans as it was the only beans we had at the moment.
He was three I'm sure he wouldn't care. I poured the beans into a bowl, added some water and put them in the microwave.

When the timer went off I took that out and put them in front of him, giving him a spoon and started to walk away. The bowl clattered on the ground and Sam looked angry.

"What did you do that for?" I cleaned it up and looked at him confused.

"Bean!" He said again. Maybe he wanted some other kind of beans.

I sigh and search around, and with luck found some black beans. I repeated the method from before.

When done he put the beans in front of Sam and waited.

Sam looked down at the bowl and his eyes teared up. Uh oh.

"Sammy what's wrong?" I wondered.

"BEAN!" He screamed and started kicking and wailing. I looked around wildly trying to find anything to cheer him up.

Dean then came running in and looked at Sammy.

"Bean!" Sam reached towards his brother and sniffled.

"I'm right here." Dean said picking him up and hugging him.

I looked at them both with confusion and then anger. Bean...He meant Dean.

I picked up the bowl of black beans and threw them on Dean and stomped out.

---•Flashback•---

I laughed at the memory.

I heard footsteps and turned around.

"What's funny?" Dean smiled.

"Oh nothing, Bean." I giggled. He laughed.

"You got so mad." He pulled me close and rested his forehead on mine.

"Yeah." I whispered.

He leaned closer and kissed me softly. He pulled away too soon though.

"I'm gonna miss you." He sighed.

"Me too." I reply and kiss him again.

"Castiel!" I hear my mom, call from downstairs. I look around and realize how empty my room is.

"I guess it's time to go." I say my voice cracking slightly. "Give, Charlie another hug for me?" I suggest.

"Definitely." He nods.
