Olympia's POV

I was sitting on my bed cogitating on how my life wasn't becoming mine again. I never have imagined such mysterious events would occur in my life.

My phone beeped drawing my attention to it. The message was from Nora, Oh! I forgot that the resumption party is tonight. How will I go without being noticed?

The grumpy security guard wouldn't even let me out. I rummaged my wardrobe in search of a party dress to wear. After a long time of searching I finally found one and wore it hopefully.

I stood right in front of my mirror, admiring my reflection. I was wearing a charming floor length one-shoulder long sleeve A-line pink prom dress with lace. That was the easiest that I could find.

I crept out of my room, my eyes dilated to spot the security guard parading in the passageway. What the hell is he doing here?

I scrambled back into my room, my back pressed against the door as I slid down in thought. There was no way he was going to let me leave the house, especially at this time of the night.

I shut my eyes close, wishing I could just disappear from this house and find myself at the party venue. Well such an impossible wish I guess.

A bright light suddenly shone on me, forcing me to clench my already closed eyes. I squinted to see the light was up so I lowered my head and cracked my eyes open.

I met a tarred floor......but my room had a carpet and tiers. My head was immediately jerked up for my eyes to be casted upon the sight. I was no longer in my room. I'm....I'm standing right in front of the party's venue.

Is this a dream? Or did my wish come to pass? How then?. So many thoughts passed through my mind and suddenly I spotted students that were all dressed in their pretty sumptuous dresses and walking briskly into the building.

Why is my stupid imagination playing tricks with me?

"Oh my! Your dress is lovely Senior" some junior students giggled and walked into the building. This is definitely not my imagination. They just complimented on my dress, so they can really see me?

I should be happy right? I'm standing right where I have yearned to be. My freedom is guaranteed right in this place. Questions should come later, I better enjoy this moment while it lasts.

I scuttled into the building to meet a very rowdy and crowdy disco party hall. I furrowed my eyebrows, "Are they partying or clubbing?"

The dances, wrong dances like mom always calls it, the loud offensive music and the shouting; the lights, their clothes, all of it weren't meant for students.

I totally misunderstood what partying with my school mates actually meant. I thought party was that of Dad's noble birthday party, birthday parties or even a welcome back home party not......a semblance of a club.

Standing there like a lost coward, I finally spotted my friend Nora. "That's fair, she alone will tell me what the hell is going on here" I took in a deep breath of relief, stamping forward.

But as I drew near I realized they formed a circle in a table, they were drinking. I thought alcohol is bad especially for teenagers. You can't blame me though, I wasn't raised to lead a reckless life.

I changed my mind in going further, I rather just find my way back home. Turning to leave, I ran out of luck because of Nora.

"Oh my God, look who came. Oly!" she called out, her tone full of surprise. I bit my lower lip and spun around with a forced smile.

"The weirdo really did come and she looks really fabulous in that dress" a random voice snide, forcing me to roll my eyes.

"Come join us" Nora offered as she gestured me to walk forward. As I was about taking a step, a resonance voice began echoing in my head. "Olympia? Olympia?! where are you? I'm hungry"
