Olympia's POV
I still continued staring at the girl then she snapped her fingers and just like that my ears went back to normal. OMG! I actually went deaf for a minute.
"D-Did you do that?" I asked with fear slipping through my eyes. She winced and clasped her palms together nervously.
"I'm so sorry it's just my powers, anyone that hears me sing goes deaf only if I want them to" she serenely smiled and I mouthed an 'O'
"So what's the name of your power? I mean the odd principal gave my powers names" I giggled and a blush creeps up her cheeks.
"Actually she's Miss Anne and my power is Voice Manipulation. Did I just hear you say powers?" she arched her eyebrows at me
"Well yes, according to them am a triple Shiveral" I answered and sat down beside her, she widened her eyes in surprise.
"First it's Advanced Telekinesis because I can control the wind and also cause a disaster. Secondly Telepathy, I can read and manipulate the minds of people and lastly Beaming, I can teleport through a flash of blue glow of light" I explained
I didn't realize her mouth was wide open the whole time I was talking. She was looking at me like I had some extra head added to my existing head.
"Wow! You are a really special Shiveral" she gasped and I just rolled my eyes
"Perhaps. So what's your name?"
"It's Lindy and you?" she asked
"I'm Olympia"
"Wow you have just a lovely name sounding like the Olympics" we chuckled in unison. "So you're new?". Her question was more like a statement than a question so I nodded.
"Well today marks the third week I have been in this institute" she smiled and I nodded again. There was nothing I could possibly say.
Suddenly my stomach growled, signifying that I had eaten nothing. The ice cream dad bought on the way has disappeared and now I have been renewed by hunger.
I winced in embarrassment because Lindy surely heard it loud and clear and she began laughing
"Sorr-Sorry, seems you're hungry right?" she giggled and I nodded shyly. "Well you're worth to be helped, c'mon follow me" she got up and I followed after her.
After a long intensed distance we walked, we got to a building boldly written "Institute's Cafeteria". No way! I gaped, this whole building is just a cafeteria?
Lindy walked into the building and I followed suit, it was like a huge restaurant more like a hotel. We headed upstairs to find lots of students neatly seated and eating their foods.
I looked around in surprise, the cafeteria had glass walls and it's floor were made of glass as well. I could see downstairs only from standing on that place.
The government really spent a lot in building this institution.
"C'mon order for anything" she gestured
"Uhmm I don't have any money" I frowned and she rolled her eyes
"Order whatever you want it's free. This is the only corner the government handles, the cafeteria" she said
"Wow, so you can eat the whole foods here without paying?" I gaped almost not believing it and she nodded with a snort. I ordered for some Fried Sausage and Seaspringe while Lindy ordered for something really thick and silky.
"What's that?" I asked with a grimace imprinted on my face.
"It's bhaji" she answered but I still looked confused.
