Olympia's POV
I slowly cracked my eyes open but a strange migraine struck me and I forced my eyes close again. My head felt like a thousand drums were playing in them.
A soft warm hand touched my forehead, and automatically the migraine was gone. My fully opened my eyes to spot an unfamiliar but beautiful young lady. She had a smile stretching on her lips.
"Do you still feel any pain?" she asked tenderly
"I think I'm okay" I answered, and tried sitting uprightly
"I would have given you a narcotic" she teased and a soft smile settled on my lips. I navigated my eyes from her to find Lindy, my calm roommate, and Piper, they were smiling.
Why on earth are they smiling?
"Okay........" I arched my eyebrows at them in confusion. "Why are you guys smiling like maniacs?"
"We are happy for two valid reasons" my calm roommate smiled and my eyes seemed to have popped out. Wow, so she can really talk? Like say something.
Some weeks ago, I thought she was dumb and couldn't say something with her mute. I once thought she was struck mute at birth.
"Firstly, you've recovered your powers back" Piper gave out a wide grin. I couldn't fathom why the King gave me back my powers.
Knowing how cruel he is, I would never believe he will give me back my powers. I suddenly found myself smiling inwardly, he isn't that bad. Who would have known what would have been my fate if I didn't get back my powers...
"And secondly, after the institute authority found out you are the second most strongest Shiveral, and they've made your decision of making you the queen of Magical Institute" Lindy jabbered with her arms spreading apart.
My eyes widened like they were about leaving its socket. The expression on my face became grave as I looked at them with astound mounted on my face.
"You guys must be joking right?" I gaped with my eyes dilating
"Yes sweetie, it's true....soon you will be made the queen of Magical Institute" the beautiful young lady added and my eyes throbbed. My mind whirled back to how everything started.
How I was this key in the pocket, always kept indoors like a snail. How I referred to my powers as a curse. How I was enrolled into Magical Institute. How I was welcomed, I mean the proud principal.
How I met Lindy, Scarlett, Piper, the king.... Landon, this beautiful lady sitting right beside me and do one. With all these Shiverals and their years in this institute, they suddenly want to make me their Queen?
I just got here few weeks ago and here I am, in a tight corner, to be a leader and rule?. Tears brimmed in my eyes as all these thoughts came flooding in. my mind.
I found myself asking myself, "Olympia do you deserve it?" I couldn't answer if I did or not. It was all top confusing for my muzzy brain to comprehend. I can't tell what my tears are for, joy or sadness?
Pedro's POV
"Hey Man! you've been quiet for long now, what's the issue?" Willow inquired as he sat beside me. Hayden also made his face towards me. We had to wait for the King to come out.
Yes, we're the King's guards, and I can't help it but get really worried.
"Yeah, that's unlike you. I mean you don't talk a lot but not this muteness" Hayden added, and he gulped on his fried sausage. They both waited for me to give an answer.
"I'm okay, just a little troubled" I answered while staring into space. My mind of whirling of multitude thoughts. Questions all through.
"Troubled about what?" Hayden questioned with his eyebrows arched at me.
"I just said I don't know" I snapped, taking in a while to calm my bated breath and I continued. "It just feels like the past is mixing into the present".
Hayden and Willow glanced at themselves in confusion. "Hope you're not speaking of Ariana" Willow furrowed his eyebrows as he inquired.
"But I thought she's already dead" Hayden gasped with his mind probably going haywire. Definitely not, it's my mind that isn't in order.
"Someone in this institute just reminds me of her"
