"You know, you look more suspicious with the mask and hood than you normally do," Haru drawled as she walked beside him.

It was early the next morning and true to his word, Izuku was walking the girls to school. Hanta was in charge of driving Hina while Aya and Akira stayed back at the apartments with Toga. Akira was supposed to be going back to college, but decided to take a few more weeks off to spend time with her mother and sisters. She didn't seem to care about her impending graduation as much as Haru did.

Izuku shrugged, not bothered with how he looked. "Maybe, but this way the facial recognition will at least take a few minutes to find me."

"Facial recognition?" Emiko echoed, practically skipping at her older sister's side. It was obvious that one of them was more excited to be going back to class than the other.

"You didn't know our school's security has that?" Haru asked back, her brows furrowed. "I know you're only a first year, but come on, Emi. How do you think it knows who's a student and who's just a reporter trying to sneak in?"

Izuku raised a brow at that, turning to the older girl. "That still happens?"

She waved her hand in a 'so-so' motion. "Once a month or so. It's not that big of a deal anymore with the new software, it shuts the journalists down pretty fast."

"Shit," Izuku mumbled, pulling the strings of his hood so it sat tighter to his face. He hadn't walked through the front door of the school ever, so he genuinely wasn't sure how long he had before he put the building on red alert.

"Is Izuku gonna get arrested?" Emiko asked, actually sounding worried at the possibility.

Haru laughed at her sister's question, bumping her elbow into the girls ribs in a teasing manner. "It's not like it'd matter, he broke out of Tartarus at fifteen!"

"Maybe we don't shout that right outside the country's top hero school," Izuku hissed as the front gates of UA came into view.

Haru at least had the decency to look sheepish. "Sorry."

Izuku didn't have the strength to stay mad at her, or any of the Seros for that matter. "It's fine, just try to keep your voice down next time," he said with a tired sigh. "Can you two get to your homerooms on your own? I gotta go find Nezu."

"Awe," Haru whined, pulling on his sleeve. "But I wanted my big brother's scary boyfriend to walk me to class. I'd get so many cool points if I was seen with a mysterious older guy."

"All the more reason for me to dump you at the front doors."

"Mean!"

There was another tug on his sleeve, this time softer and more hesitant. When he looked over, he saw that it was Emiko this time.

"Could you pretty please walk me to my class?" she asked in a soft voice. "Mr. Aizawa really scares me and I've missed so much. I know he's gonna be mad."

Izuku's resolved instantly cracked. Even if he knew the girl's fears were irrational and Aizawa would definitely not scold her for getting kidnapped, he still couldn't stand the thought of her being afraid. "Yeah, of course I can."

The way her eyes lit up was enough for Izuku to consider walking her there every day. Emiko had been walking on eggshells around him ever since he got her back from Shigaraki and Chisaki, with good reason. He was just happy she seemed to consider him safe again.

"Yay!" Haru cheered, throwing her hands up in the air. "Drop me off first? My class is closer to the front doors anyway."

"Yeah, yeah," he sighed in response.
