"What'd you mean we can't go back to school?" Akira asked, her voice slowly flooding with anger. She was in the living room with Haru, Emiko, and Hanta. Aya and Hina had gone to bed, exhausted from their long day.

Hanta drug a hand down his face, trying to blink away sleep long enough to fight with his younger sisters. "I mean just that. You guys can't go back to school yet, technically, you shouldn't even go home."

Izuku nodded in confirmation from where he sat on the pro's counter, looking into the living room. "If Shigaraki catches even a glimpse of you, all bets are off. He hates me enough to not care about our alliance or Chisaki's."

Akira's eyes blazed as she set her sights on Izuku instead of her brother. "Then fix it. Aren't you supposed to be all powerful or something?"

The villain just placed his hands on the counter top behind him, leaning back so they supported his weight as he tossed a lazy look to his... boyfriend? Were they dating again? He wasn't so sure yet. "Hana, have you been telling people I'm a god?"

"Just trying to spread the good word, lightning bug," was the cheeky response he got.

Izuku threw his head back with a groan. "No, okay? Believe it or not, I'm not all powerful and I can't just smite Shigaraki and be done with it. Besides, he still has that little girl, so even if I could just kill him, it'd have to be meticulous."

Akira crossed her arms with a glare pointed straight at him. "Isn't everything with you meticulous?"

"I think that was supposed to be insulting, but I'm choosing to take it as a compliment," Izuku snapped back, suddenly regretting saving Hanta's sisters at all.

"But I have to go back to school," Haru cut it, taking a step in front of her sister to gain the two mens' attention. "I'm supposed to graduate soon."

"Kid, you've missed so much school that even if you went back right now, they still wouldn't let you graduate," Izuku said with a wave of his hand. Might at well just wait for next year when he's taken care of the trash.

"That's not true," Haru said with a deep frown as she shifted on her feet. "Mr. Aizawa would make sure I graduated on time, he's a softy like that."

"God, not that guy," Izuku complained, about ready to throw himself out a window. Here he was thinking it couldn't get any worse.

Haru planted her feet and crossed her arms over her chest, just like her big sister had done. The same fiery determination that had originally made Izuku fall for Hanta shone in her eyes. "If you don't let us go back to school, I'll tell Mr. Aizawa I'm being held hostage by a villain."

"Not doing that!" Hanta exclaimed, clearing the room and ending up directly in front of his sister, his hands resting on her shoulders. "Haru, we're just trying to protect you. Waiting out the school year is the safest option. As a future pro, you need to learn to pick and choose your battles."

Izuku groaned again, this time even louder. "Well, if you're gonna be a pretentious dick about it, then I'm on their side. You guys can go back to school-"

"Iz!" Hanta hissed in betray, cutting the villain off before he could finish his sentence. The girls all cheered though, making the ghost of a smile cross Izuku's lips for just a moment.

"Hey!" Izuku called, needing the room to quiet down so he could further explain. "You can go back to school, but you guys are living with me while you do it. Having you all spread out is a migraine and a half that I don't feel like dealing with."

Akira narrowed her eyes. "Do we have to pay rent?"

Izuku couldn't help the small chuckle that escaped him at the question. "Trust me, I don't need your money. No one in my apartments pay rent, actually."
