Everyone in life have to make a decision
Take accountability, no matter the direction
But it seems to me that we lack conviction
So, know I realize we need to make an incision-
Dig deep to understand the lack of consequence
Because without that you can't retain consciousness
Then you just withhold yourself from prominence.
So, tell me, can you have the cake and eat it too?
This new era has made everyone blue-
In the face of adversity, you don't have a clue
Because you can't tell me what is false and what is true
Because the answers are not even coming from you.
It comes from a system that wishes to divide us
Everyday less people confide in trust
That's why every time I bleed on the pad, it will be for us
Till death do us part, I will ride for us
And until my last breath, I will write for us.
But I want to make it clear that I am no messiah
I'm just a man with a desire
To see my people rise up and do better
To become strong enough to endure any weather
So, no matter the trial, we arrive on the other side better than ever.
I pledge my pen to the embitterment of my people
To show humans that we were all made equal
And that money doesn't equate to status to people
But only emphasizes how close you are to evil.
Not to say those with more wealth should be subjected
But morals should remain to be projected
Because no matter what they say, humanity isn't perfected.
