It is a crazy world that we live in
Are we really proud of the world we're creating?
I see a lot of things that can be labeled "Rage baiting"
And now I begin to question if morality is fading.
Can we tell the difference between cause & effect?
I have to ask the question, might as well be direct
I detect whimsical thoughts but a lack of vision
They say "We are united" but the actions relay division-
My decision is going to come with a price
Listen when I say I desire more life
Because right now I feel like we are buried alive
Propaganda pushed in silence to sever family ties
The truth is in disguise, and they bury it under lies
Exploiting our curses until the day we die.
It's passed down to the kids and that's truly disturbing
Hopefully these words influence the gears turning.
They try to coddle us with soothing words
Then proceed to kick our emotions to the curb
Almost as if it's emotional prostitution
It's a foul reality of what we call the institution-
The illusion that these people stand up for us
But at the opportune chance, toss us under the bus
There's no trust and to me that's a definite must
Stop looking outside because all we have is us
We have to look within, or we will fall victim to lust.
