Crash!
It came from outside. I looked over at Sondra, but she was already out the door. I hate her super speed.
I walk out to see an upside down car and three men tied up.
"What happened?" Was what I managed to say.
"Found these three wizards playing with my car." Aidon said. "Pissed me off so I tied 'em up."
"Kevin, go pack your stuff." Sondra says, "It's not safe here anymore."
"Where are we going to go?" I ask.
"Back to your house." She says.
"But they know that I live there." I reply.
"Then we just have to make them think otherwise." She says.

Back in Virginia:
"Fake my death?!" I scream.
"Yep." Sondra says.
"How are we going to do that?" I ask, nervously.
"I have an old secret weapon." She says.
"Why aren't you telling me anything?" I ask, "What's the secret weapon?"
"You'll see." She says.
●
"A supernatural repelling pocket watch?" I ask as I take the small device in my hand.
As long as you have that on you, nothing supernatural can kill you." Sondra says.
"Nothing?" I ask.
"Not vampires, werewolves, witches, wizards, mermaids, doppelgängers, fairies, nothing." Sondra replys.
"Ok. So, how are we going to do this?" I ask.
"Well, I was thinking, I could snap your neck in front of the council and you could come back to life in about six hours."
My mouth dropped. "You want to snap my neck?!" I ask.
"Yep." Sondra says.
