"Ok, we're here." Sondra says as we drive into my driveway.
I look up and see my house in the moonlight. I'll be spending a lot of time here during the day now. You know, the whole sun=death thing.
"Do you want me to come inside with you?" She asks.
I nod.
We walk inside to find my mother laying dead on the table. "Mom!" I scream. I walk over to her and take her hand. I shake her. "Mom! Mom!" I yell again. "Please don't be dead. Please don't be dead!"
"Kevin," Sondra says.
"No! No! She can't be dead." I scream. I start to cry.
"Kevin," she says again, "she's gone. But I promise you that we will find who did this and kill them."
I walk over to the kitchen and find a note.
It reads:
Dear Kevin,
You shouldn't have killed Janean, George, and Johnatin! You pay. One down, two to go. See ya in hell, Kevin.-The Council
"No, no. This can't be happening." I say.
"What?" Sondra asks.
"The rest of the council is going to kill people I care about because they think I killed 'Janean, George, and Johnatin'!" I explain.
"We wouldn't let that happen." She says. She walks over to me and kisses me, then hugs me.
"Thanks." I say.
Then we kiss again.
