TWO WEEKS LATER:
"So what do you want to do?" Sondra asks.
"Whatever you want. We could go to the dance or go see that movie." I reply.
"I want to go to the dance." She says.
"Then we dance!" I say.
We laugh.
●
We walk in.
Loud music.
Dancing teens.
This is a school dance.
We walk over to the punch bowl and get a drink. "So, wanna dance?" I ask.
"Yes, I very much do." Sondra says.
So then we dance.
"Hey," Sondra says, "Look at that guy over there."
"Him?" I ask. I look over at a dark figure standing on the other side of the gym. His suit is all black and his hair is dark blue. He's just standing there, doing nothing.
"Who is he?" She asks.
"I've never seen him before." I say.
"I'm going to go talk to him." Sondra says.
"Ok." I say.
I watch as Sondra walks over to the mysterious guy. They start talking. Then I see him pull a syringe out of his pocket. It's filled with a purple liquid. He points over to the bleechers and Sondra turns around. He injects the liquid into Sondra's arm. I start to walk over to them.
Then Sondra falls on the floor, unconscious.
I start to run.
"Hey! What the hell?!" I say as I reach him.
"You Kevin?" He asks me.
"Yeah! What did you do to my girlfriend?"
"She's fine. Would you like to join her?" He asks.
"What?" I ask. Then he injects the purple liquid into me.
