twenty eight

jisung and minho were sitting on a couch.
jisung was reading a book, while Minho had a laptop on his lap, doing some work he didn't finish yet.

"how about we ordered food tonight?"
minho asked, looking at his boyfriend.
"I'm sorry, I still have to finish this, and I don't have time to cook."

"that's okay."
jisung gave minho a reassuring smile.
"but I don't think we should order. we have been ordering too much lately, and it's a waste of money. I'm gonna make us dinner."

"jisung-"
minho was horrified.

"I'm not gonna use the stove don't worry."
jisung rolled his eyes.
"but leave the dinner to me. just focus on your work, okay? I will start making the dinner in about twenty minutes."

"thank you."
minho gave him a small smile, before looking back at his laptop with a sigh.
"if the fuckers just did their job properly, I would already have this finished."

"sometimes it's just like that."
jisung said, gently caressing Minhos hand.
"but hey, you could get promoted soon!"

"that's the only reason I'm doing this."
minho sighed.
"they have send me the wrong data two times now."

"it's gonna be okay."
jisung gently caressed minhos back.
"just concentrate on your work now, okay?"

"okay."
minho nodded.

jisung went back to reading his book, continuing to lightly caress Minhos back, while minho just did his work, feeling annoyed and tired.
but having his boyfriend by his side, who was making it even better by caressing his back, minho felt a bit better.

suddenly, jisung took off his glasses and closed his book, putting it on the little table next to the couch.
"I'm gonna go make the dinner now, okay?"

"mhm."
minho nodded, not looking at jisung.

jisung walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, trying to figure out what to make and not burn the kitchen down.
he then got an amazing idea.

with a small smile, he took out some ham, cheese, lettuce, mayo, and anything that he would be able to put in a sandwich, before closing the fridge and moving toward the pantry, taking the sandwich bread.

taking a kitchen knife, jisung put a bit of mayo on the pieces of the sandwich bread, before putting all of the toppings he took from the fridge on it, smiling as he cut the vegetables in a small pieces, so he could make a little smiley face on top of the sandwich.
you know, make it look cute.

satisfied with his creation, jisung took the two plates with sandwiches and made his way back into the living room, seeing his very frustrated looking boyfriend.

"dinner is ready~"
jisung said with a huge smile, giving one of the plates to minho.

minho put his laptop on the small table next to the couch, before finally looking at the plate, immediately smiling.
"this is adorable."
he said, kissing jisungs cheek.

"enjoy~"
jisung sang out, before taking a bite out of his sandwich.
but minho wasn't eating.

jisung looked at him, confused.
"why aren't you eating?"
he asked, his mouth full.

"it's just so cute. look at the little cucumber smiley face. how can I ruin it?"
minho said, looking at the sandwich with the most fond eyes.
