kathryn had went to school so i was laying in bed alone i was bored, then zaria came and sat on my bed, my ankle was sprained so it was propped up on a pillow, she just laid down and we watches tv dink came home with my mom they walked it
"jai you ate something today?" she asked
"hm no" i said trying to go back to sleep
"you better eat something im cooking dinner soon" my ma said walking out
dink came and laid on the bed
"can we watching spongebob" he asked
"ofc change it" i replied
"duke your phone ringing" zaria said rolling over

we talked for a bit while she drove home her ma was yelling as always
"she stresses me out so fucking much i swear she just needa leave me alone" kathyrn said
she always rants about her mom, i never really say anything i just listen, but i dont like how her ma treat her, lowkey pisses me off everytime i see how stress she is, but yk im just here for support ig.
"And she was like i was doing to much because i said i didnt care anymore and i was done, because im done explaining myself, its no point anymore" she said sighing
"mmtch she never listen, you just gotta keep your composure and cool mama, dont let her see you upset and shit, but i know how you feel, you deserve to express your feelings" i said looking at her
"i know baby, im just ready to move on" she said looking back at me

"ima move away and find my own peace" she said doing her homework
"you wanna know something baby?" she said looking up from her paper
"wassup love?" i said turning away from my game

"im glad i can make you feel safe, and you can always lay with me" i said looking at her

she got up and went into the bathroom, she sat the camera up she looked good
"baby im finna do my hair and listen to music" she said looking at me
"thats fine ima just watch cars" i said

she was doing two stands in her dreads, she look good, i took s picture of her, she looked up at me and i took another one, and put my ipad down next to me while i watched cars it was getting dark i turned on my lights she took about 5 pictures of me just smiling at me
"you so pretty baby" she said
"thank you mamas" i said smiling at her
"im finna get in the shower love" she said sitting me down in her bed
"okay ma, see you in 4 hours" i said
"it wont be that long baby" she said
"uh huh whatever" i said watching my cars
she got up and i heard her shower it
was about 45 minutes later i was almost done with my movie, and i heard
"hi pretty girl" she said looking at me with her pretty eye

we talked a lot we have alot of conversation in a short time because i cant stay on topic she just listens and responds when its time and we later talk about the topic i bounced on
"omg jordynn and Aniyah had broke up in first period and started arguing" she said laughing
"ooooo shit forealll?" i said
"yessss girl it was funny ima see if someone recorded for your messy butt" she said laughing
"mmtch ian messy girl" i said looking at her

"how you feeling baby?" she said looking concerned
"hmm it hurts like hell, but its hard getting sleep, because you know i lay on my side or stomach, so its kinda weird ian use to this i be wanting to roll over but i know its gonna hurt more" i said
"aww my poor baby, you been taking your medicine and eating properly?" she asked
"yes ma'am everyday" i said sighing
"hmm okay baby" she said laughing
"you look sleepy baby, you sleepy?" she asked
"i am, but ion wanna go to sleep" i said

"because its not gonna be good sleep ima wake up in the middle if the night" i said
"aww baby, you wanna talk or watch something?" she asked
"uhh maybe both" i said
"okay lemme get my food and you pick a movie and get something to eat" she said

i got up grabbed my crutches and went down stairs into the kitchen to find some to eat, i got a lunchable and some grapes, and put a gatorade in my pocket i made my way back up, i hit my ankle and put pressure on it by accident it hurt like shit man
"baby ?" she said
"oh yea ma?" i said
"you okay i heard you grunting and i a hard sigh" she said
"oh yea i just hit my foot and put some pressure on it by accident im finna take some more medicine" i said giving her a faint smile
"okay what we watching" she said
"hmm ionk" i said
"pick some ma" i said with a smile
"okay uhm coraline" she said with a straight face
"okay ma" i said
"i love you baby" she said
she sat her ipad up and waited for me i sat mine up i had to prop my leg up so it wasnt to fun, i was finally ready
"3 2 1 play" she said
we watch coraline bout once a month, but its her favorite movie so why not, i took my medicine and ate my lunchable and grapes the movie was over and i could tell my baby was sleepy, she was laying down watching spongebob she looked beautiful, i brought her closer to be hoping to feel her presence she always made me feel safe
"baby?" she said with a raspy soft voice
"yes babygirl?" i said looking at her
"i'll be right back" she said getting up
"okay mylove" i said
i watched her get her wondering if she wanted to be with my forever, because i wanted to be with her, lost in my thoughts ian hear her call out for me
"baby?!" she said
"baby!" she said loud breaking my thoughts
"oh yea ma?" i said shakily
"you okay ?" she asked
"yes ma'an" i said
"okay im tired im finna go to sleep" sh said
i shook my head

"goodnight mylove" she said looking at me

i watched her set her alarm, she watched tv for a while till her eyes shut closed, and she was sleep, she tossed and turned before i knew it i was asleep
