You needed to get out of the house the community, Rick michonne and Daryl was leaving today to go see Maggie at hilltop "please I need to come with you" Daryl looked at you "baby you just had Melody literally 2 days ago" "dar come on Siddiq said it was fine I'm fine, I'll bring her with me I haven't left in months I haven't even met hershal yet Maggie doesn't even know iv had her, please" Rick and Carl walked into the room " guys come on help me out" Daryl begged "ohh no nope I'm not getting involved your on your own"Rick laughed before grabbing a drink " I think mum is old enough" "hey less on the old" you smiled at your boy "okay um...adult enough to make her own decision you 3 will be there to protect her and it's not like we are fighting the saviours anymore just the dead right now to look out for"

You looked around at Daryl and Rick who was nodding "oh okay okay fine, but you stay next to us at all times middle of the group we use the baby sling and wrap her close to you, we get in danger you leave and I mean it" he spoke looking directly at you "yes! Okay fine thank you thank you thank you"  you wrapped your arms around his neck kissing him over and over "okay okay I don't want to see that" Carl laughed covering his eyes you walked to him and hugged him "thank you for helping me get out of here" he squeezed you back "let's be honest Daryl will do anything to make you happy he would have let you sooner or later" you grinned at him

Hilltop

You was all on your way to hilltop, Daryl on his bike bandana protecting his face from the dust, you was on peanut the horse, Melody was asleep wrapped tightly to your chest as Rick and Michonne was on there horses, hilltops gates rolled open and we all galloped inside, rick and Michonne got off helping you down of yours as Daryl came close to rub your back "you okay" you nodded and walked closer to Maggie stopping when you notice the black eye she was supporting

You was on the balcony holding Hershel "wow he's so big and he looks just like his daddy" Maggie smiled softly "says you , Melody is so cute and tiny, I bet Daryl is already whipped" you giggled Rick walked in "ohh he sure is had to fight for her to come this morning because he's so over protective" Maggie smiled picturing it "he's perfect he really is" Rick spoke taking hershal off me " yeah I think I'll keep him" she passed me back Melody and took Hershel from Rick before placing him in his travel cot joking about him running off "now that Hershel's a little older and your going on runs again I'd love for you to visit Alexandria sometime, if your up for it, Judith talks about aunt Maggie at hilltop all the time, I'm surprised she still remembers you, but she does"

You knew she wouldn't, she wasn't happy we had Negan alive and well in a cell after she wants him dead "Rick, I can't. You know I can't. But you came about something else" Maggie spoke to us " oh, Maggie it can... it can wait" you spoke up "I'm okay just talk to me about anything else, please." Silence filled the space " alright well, we need your help fixing the bridge, hill top is thriving because of you, this place if doing better than anywhere else, and you've been generous.hilltops given so much already. But I'm asking for more" "what" "the sanctuary is still short on food and a project like this is gonna take a lot of people and supplies I'm asking you to be generous again maybe we'll stretch" Rick spoke "if my people want to work on the bridge, I won't stop them. But no more food to the sanctuary without getting something back for it." "What would you want" you question Maggie.

"If the sanctuary needs food I'll give it to em, but they provide most of the labour on the bridge for us, and they send over all the fuel they've been making from there dead corn" she spoke staring between you and Rick "sanctuary is barley holding on right now, we are obliged to help" Rick spoke up to her "why they surrendered we didn't kill them that it's, I can't solve all there problems when I clearly have things to take care of here" you nodded understanding , you couldn't blame her the man she wanted dead the most you and Rick kept alive, and now you wanted her to help his old people "Maggie, I'm so sorry this happened to you and Enid..." you spoke up "iv survived worse, but it has to stop." She stood up walking around "when we was fighting the saviours you told me that soon, you'd be the one following me, but you didn't, cause I wasn't someone to follow that changes now. It'll be dark soon, it's time to put the children to bed." She spoke before walking off you looked at Rick and shrugged not surprised with her answer to it all

You all stood around it was now dark but Maggie was making a stand "I don't wanna do this, but people need to understand, here at hilltop the punishment fits the crime" Maggie looked at you and Rick you knew it was a dig about Negan, Daryl was by her helping her "do you have any final words" Maggie asked Gregory as he stood hands bound and throat wrapped in a rope "what you're doing isn't right, somebody stop this, please killing me in the dead of night because your ashamed" he cried "your wrong I'm not ashamed" Maggie spoke nodding towards Daryl as he walked to wards the rope "stop this! Please! Now, for the love of god, stop it!" He cried out before michonne shouted for Maggie to stop seeing someone's kids get out of bed and walk towards us, Daryl hit the horse on the ass making it run and Gregory was struggling for breath, "get the children back in bed" Maggie demanded "I made this decision but this is not the beginning of something, I don't want to go through it again, cut him down" she spoke towards Daryl before he followed her demands.
