The hot spring never sat well with Catnap - The heat getting under his fur, blankets becoming terrifying enemies instead of the friendly allies they were supposed to be, the sun trying to deep-fry himself, and worse of all, sleep became an arduous task, and not a recreative activity. At those moments he came close to envying humans and their lack of fur, close. Catnap would trade his enormous tail for nothing! And wake up to a sweaty bed... Eugh.

How can anycritter- No, anyone enjoys spring or summer?! Truly, it is a task only worthy of being accomplished by the crazy ones-

Catnap's thoughts were interrupted as someone knocked on his door, "Kuddle Kitty! Your friends are at the door!" It was the sweet yet determined voice of his mother, of course. Catnap threw the thin purple blankets to a basket filled with other equally thin purple blankets that he swore to fold someday, and with reluctance, walked to his window and opened the curtains - His room was a mess, open dresser, clothes that he had for some reason but never wore threw everywhere, a bottle of water on top of a small cabinet next to his bed that held his pendant and a lamp decorated with small yellow stars, books about various subjects spread around the floor, one even used to keep a table leg with a laptop from swinging around. And a lava lamp is lying on the floor. If his room was a mess his bed was a CATastrophe, from bedsheets to blankets, all thrown around in an unrecognizable mess, even the abandoned playcare was more organized than his room. Truly, this was all a mess. Not that Catnap cared though - what was the point of organizing everything if he was going to make a mess of it all over again?

But he better get that figured out before his mother comes in and makes a mess out of him. Catnap grunted and walked to the basket with the purple blankets, and began folding one after another, then he folded his clothes got his bedding done, and- "Kuddle Kitty?" Left the folded clothes on the ground, grabbed his moon pendant and pu it on and stopped right in front of the door, taking a look back at the many books on the floor before deciding to figure that out later. Catnap opened the door.

Dad was still sleeping, the door to his room right next to his, and then there was the bathroom next door after his parent's bedroom. His brother, as always, was on the couch reading some magazines that, 'You are too young to read' or something. Catnap stretched his front arms and then yawned. Mom, a purple cat like Catnap with even purple-er stripes, long whiskers with a rosy pink nose, her form was friendly yet it was made even friendlier with her round glasses, she also had a long tail - a characteristic the whole family shared - and was talking to Kickin' and Hoppy outside the door.

'Weird, Dogday usually comes too...' Catnap thought and shrugged, maybe too occupied with schoolwork, he was dedicated like that. His pile was getting bigger though... Catnap decided to do it tomorrow. He has another three days before delivering those. From his room to the door was nothing more than a few tens of steps, in between those he peeked above the couch to see what his oh-so-older brother was reading that he couldn't, it was just a magazine about swimsuits for girls... Is he planning on buying one for Mama? That sounded like a waste of money, the whole family hates pools. That's why they had no bathtubs that were mini-pools but showers!

Nevertheless, Catnap arrived at the door, "There you are!" Mom said giving Catnap a crushing hug Bobby would look up to. Kickin' and Hoppy laughed, the latter was holding a soccer ball - so that is what this is all about.

Mama finally let go, "Come back before dark, my precious yarn ball." And she said with a smile. Catnap stepped outside and closed the door slowly.

"Where' we going?" Catnap said, to which both Hoppy and Kickin' looked at each other and laughed.

"Your voice gets deeper each day!" Hoppy said, much to Catnap's dismay. He hoped if he talked less maybe those vocal cords would go back to what they used to be...

"N-No sweat! Y-You'd -Pfft- You'd be a good vocalist!" Kickin said. Between Kickin's beak and Hoppy's mouth, Catnap wrapped his tail around the green bunny morphing her annoying giggling to a satisfying grumbles of protest.

"Alright, alright. Phew. Let long ears go, we need to meet the others at Space Jam. You brought money, right?" Kickin' said, Catnap let go of Hoppy and shook his head, the yellow chicken shrugged and decided to pay for him - that rich cock.

At least he'd get to eat free of charge, alas, for that meal Catnap would have to brave through this 06-forsaken sun.

(A/N Here we go. Don't expect updates anytime soon, I just really needed to get this out of my head to continue on other projects. But on a side note, what do you guys think?)
