Your Point Of View
"I wouldn't go back to daydreaming if I were you, sir seems pretty aware of what's happening now seeing as they have walked in forty-five minutes late," Leila says, I looked at her then looked down at my watch. They were, in fact, forty-five minutes late to the lesson, don't blame them it's such a boring lesson hence why I fell asleep and ended up dreaming about me and Luke. It would never happen, though, why?
He's a player, manwhore, cheat, smoker you name it he probably has been called it but it's true what people say about him apart from him being called a cheat. I've never actually seen him with one girl for him to be able to cheat but who cares. He's labelled and girls like me do not date boys like him, but daydreaming about him, that's allowed. Everyone's allowed to daydream right?
"But I really was enjoying daydreaming though Leila," I say, she looks at me then laughs. "Oh I know, you do," she says. I then looked at her. "So what are we doing after school today?" She asks I shrugged my shoulders in response.
"No idea" I was about to say when Ashton joined the conversation by moving his chair to our table. "I think we should go to BowlPlex tonight," he says looking at us. I nod agreeing.
"Yeah, why not it's been a long time since I've been bowling," I say, he smiles at me. Smiling at him, Leila looked at me. "So bowling it is then?" She asked confirming we were going bowling tonight.
"Yep," Me and Ashton say at the same time. "Okay, so we say about sevenish?" Leila asks looking at us both. "Sure I'm alright we seven," I say, Ashton, nods in agreement. "Good I can't wait," Leila says smiling.
"And what's your excuse for being forty-five minutes late to my lesson boys?" Our teacher asks, looking at Leila she grinned at me, we both looked forward to watching what was happening.
"Well, you see we were" Calum starts saying but then stopped talking to look at Luke and Michael for help. "Well don't keep me waiting boys," Sir says, tapping his foot on the ground repeatedly waiting for them to give him an explanation as to why they were forty-five minutes late.
"We were outside," Michael says, sir then looked at him. "You were outside and didn't hear the bell?" He asks looking at them. "Yep didn't hear it," Michael says looking at him. "Right, that's the lamest excuse I've ever heard." He says shaking his head at them. "Well it's the truth," Luke says, leaning against the wall. "Mr Hemmings If you please stop leaning against the wall, " sir says, Luke ignored him and kept leaning against the wall, not moving.
"Mr Hemmings I have asked you-" "Stop leaning against the wall, yeah yeah I heard you," Luke says mimicking him and pushing himself off the wall with his foot." Now look you've got dirt all on the wall," sir says, Luke shrugged and then walked down towards his seat which was in front of our table. Calum and Michael soon followed afterwards, they then sat down in their seats.
Sir rolled his eyes and then went back to teaching, not bothering to take the matter any further, he could have given them detention but he knew they wouldn't turn up so he just did what he was paid to do, teach or make students fall asleep.
"Who's driving tonight then?" I hear Ashton ask, looking at him, I shrugged. "I don't know but " "my cars off the road you know that," Leila says, "I don't drive," Ashton says they both looked at me smiling. "Looks like it's me then doesn't it?" I say, they nod.
"Yep, you're the best Yn, you know that," they say. I then looked forward and all I could see was the back of Luke's head.
Being bored, I rested my head on my hand as sir carried on talking about something I wasn't really listening to him talk about. Looking around no one was really listening to him and he hasn't even noticed.
"So is anybody allowed to come bowling or is it only friends allowed?" I hear a voice ask, looking around to see who the voice belonged to, I realised it was Luke. Looking at Leila she shook her head, I looked back to Luke, he was looking at me. I didn't want to be rude to him but then I knew Leila shook her head to say no he can't come.
"I'm sorry maybe some-" I was about to say, he cut me off," Nah I truly get it, you have to follow the rules of your friends."He says turning around and started talking to Calum. What the hell. Follow the rules of my friends?
I looked at Ashton, he just shrugged his shoulders at me and started talking to Leila. I leant over the table and tapped Luke on the shoulder. He soon turned around and looked at me with a grin playing on his lips. "Yes?" I looked at him. " I don't follow the rules, a boy like you should know that, if you want to come bowling then come, either way, I'm not really bothered if you do or don't turn up," I say, leaning back in my chair.
He just smirked at me, I think he was about to say something but was cut off by the bell ringing indicating the lesson was over.
Me, Ashton and Leila soon gathered our things, got up from our chairs, pushing them under the desks and made our way out of the classroom following the other students out of the room. As soon as we were walking, Leila looked at me. "What the hell, why did you basically invite him?" She asked, looking at her, I raised my eyebrow.
"So it's not like Luke Hemmings is going to turn up anyway, he probably has better things to do," I say, Ashton, nodded in agreement.
"Like what exactly?" She asked I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know does it look like I have a schedule about what he does," I say as we carried on walking. "I still can't believe you asked him to come" "Stop making a big deal out of it Leila like I said he won't come anyway," I say. " I hope not, it's supposed to be just us three," she says.
We carried on walking, I was ignoring Leila's constant moaning to Ashton as we walked about how telling Luke to come was a bad idea. It's not like he would come anyway, he'll probably be too busy out with girls or whatever he does on school nights.
"You know seeing as we're inviting any Tom, Dick or Harry maybe I should invite the next person I see," Leila says, I rolled my eyes. She really did get on my nerves sometimes, I mean I say one thing to Luke and she starts making it into a big deal. He wouldn't even turn up anyway. Luke Hemmings bowling? "Do we know Tom, Dick or Harry?" Ashton asks looking at me, I just smiled at him. "No Ashton it's just a saying," I say, "oh I get you," he says, I titter to myself as we walked down the corridor.
"If Luke comes I will not play" "Leila as I've said already, won't come anyway so stop making a big deal out of it. Can you see Luke coming bowling?" I say looking at her. She looked at me, then smiled. "Probably not, your right," she says which I smiled, hoping she would shut up about it now. She did she started talking about something else. I sighed in relief, I don't think I would have lasted much longer if she was going to keep on moaning about Luke and how he may come bowling, that is if he even came anyway.
