Your Point Of View
I was about to walk out of the front door to walk to school when my mum called me. "Oh and Yn, I forgot to tell you that we're having dinner at the Hemmings house tonight," she says. "Oh that's great mum," I say through gritted teeth as I walk out of the door and was about to shut it.
"Oi wait a minute" I hear Sammy say, pushing the door I saw Sammy had my car keys. "What you doing with my car keys Wilkinson?" I ask, he grinned. "Driving you to school so you can fill me in on your date last night," He says, sighing. "Fine," I say as I walked down the driveway, hearing him chuckle and the door close.
We got in the car after Sammy unlocked it, him in the driver's seat and me in the passenger seat. He kept driving around in my car often now because he hadn't got one of his own and for some reason he liked driving me to school in my own car, I personally think it's because he likes talking to me but I don't know, as longs as he's happy that's all that matters.
Seatbelts on, Sammy started the car, reversed out of the driveway and began driving me to school. "So how did it go?" He asked.
Sighing, I looked out of the window. "It was great, but " "but what?" "I feel bad now he went to all that trouble he took me go-karting, I love that, it was just me and him. It was amazing everything that first dates should be but Sam you should have seen his face throughout the date he was happy while I was regretting every minute of it." I say turning to look at him.
"So what are you saying? You're going to stop using him to get one over on, Luke?" Sammy asks while looking at me for a split second before looking back at the road."Yeah, I have to, he's a nice guy deep down and he doesn't deserve what I'm doing to him despite him being a player too" I say. "He's a player as well?" He asks shocked, "yeah he is, despite that he has feelings, I shouldn't have decided to do it in the first place. When I see him, I'm going to tell him the truth" I say honestly.
"And what if he gets angry about it all" "then so be it, he deserves to know the truth and I can't deal with the guilt after one date, I can't do it," I say. "I'm not that heartless" I continue, I see Sammy nod in agreement.
"What do you think Luke will say about it all?" "Don't know and I don't really care, he made it clear what he thinks of me?" I say, looking back out of the window. "Right, you don't care" "I don't care about what some stupid player thinks about me," I say quietly.
"Yeah okay, your such a liar Yn. I think you do care, let's hope it doesn't end badly we are having dinner at Luke's tonight" he says making me groan. "Oh don't remind me," I say hearing him chuckle."Seriously it can't be that bad" He says, I looked at him. "You haven't met Luke yet, he can be quite an asshole when he wants to be," I say. "And when he's not being an asshole, what is he like then?" Sammy asks and I couldn't help but smile and say "amazing, he is fantastic which Angie that's for sure.." I say, he nodded.
"Then I have one question for you," he says, I nod. "Go ahead and ask away," I say. He carried on driving before he started speaking again, "What's stopping you from going after what you want and getting it?" He asks which I just looked at him.
"Luke is not what I want," I say folding my arms across my chest, he chuckled. "I didn't say he was, you said that not me" "fuck" I mutter under my breath and he laughed.
Soon enough Sammy was pulling up against the pavement so I could get out. "Well good luck breaking it off with Calum," he says. "Oh thank you so much for your kind words, cousin," I say jokingly, he laughed. Taking off my seatbelt, I looked out the window to see if any cars were coming there wasn't. I opened the door and stepped out, closing the door I walked around the car and stepped onto the pavement to Sammy rolling down the window.
